I’m here at basel world 2013 with Rolex looking at the new version of the yachtmaster 24 2013 rolex releases the yachtmaster to in a full steel case it has that beautiful blue ceramic bezel.
This is a 44 millimeter wide version of rolex watch and you can see what it looks like they’re on the wrist there aren’t that many rolex watches the size is probably next to the the deep sea diving watch this is probably the largest out there it is a great fit on the wrist but again even at 40 millimeters wide most rolex watches look great because of that wide lug structure there the yachtmaster to is a regatta timer has a special type of chronograph and it is actually quite interesting how it works the chronograph is a 10 minute countdown timer and you have the central seconds hand there and this large arrow-shaped red outline hand there is a countdown to what you can do is you can set this different times so you don’t always have to have just 10 minutes and the way it works is quite interesting you use the bezel you rotate the bezel here or first have to take out the crown you don’t take it out you just unscrew it and you push down on the lower pusher you turn the bezel here and then what you can do is you can adjust your set in and then you can adjust their the time you can see how it moves around like that that’s really really quite cool and then you have the matter of minutes you want to do you put the bezel back to screw the crown back in and there you have it you can count down eight minutes whenever you like and again that’s used for boat racing so again this is the yachtmaster to reference 116 sick 6680 in steel.
