amazon Audio Technica ATH CKR55BT reviews

Design

In today’s headphones, Audio Technica has the highest design homogeneity. As with the cheap CKR35BT pair, the CKR55BT has a wired connection between the ears.

On the wire there is a music control, a call receiver, a built-in microphone and a dedicated cluster to hold the battery. The battery life of CKR55BT is about 7 hours, not very impressive but still acceptable, enough for a week. A very commendable point of CKR55BT and all the new CKR wireless headsets that are released are the protruding.

Only the earpiece is larger to accommodate the speaker diaphragm with a large jack of 10.5 inches (compared to the 9.8mm diameter of the CKR35BT). Still, the design is quite similar, with the nozzle crossed for easy access to the ears.

The micro USB charging port is stamped by a small piece of plastic, but unfortunately the headset is not equipped with any waterproof standards.

The clamshell battery has a built-in clamshell, which attaches to the collar to help keep you from getting caught, especially for those who love to wear headphones for exercise.

Practical experience

Though technically sound, like the rivals Sony and Sennheiser, Audio Technica still has some of the sweetest sound of the traditional “AD” lineup. Products such as CKR55BT. The overall sound quality is fairly uniform from the bottom to the top, with no strings ‘encroach’ to the other strings, but each strip has a special point worth mentioning.

The bass range is the biggest upgrade from ATH’s traditional sound. Although not part of the Solid Bass, but CKR35BT and CKR55BT so far, the bass of the CKR line is still quite full. But the bass is soft, not too punchy but slightly backward. CKR is designed to be more pop-oriented than traditional earphones, so bass can not be lacking, but for those who are used to listening to jazz, vocals, drum sounds, and double bass sounds are light enough.

The strongest of the CKR55BT is the way the headphones show the singer. Sarah McLachlan’s voice in Trainwreck is moving forward and very prominent, very sweet. The sound is a lot more than the vocal, so the airy vocals are very characteristic of the Technica Audio headphones. The high-mid section is quite high, slightly higher than the CKR35BT, so it’s slightly sibalance, for some people it’s a bit weak, but for Japanese fans. A feature that makes it stand out from the market is its ‘assimilation’ sound.

In the CKR35BT pair of low-cost headphones, we can see that the band has ‘reserved’ treble strips for higher end products, and this has been demonstrated in the CKR55BT pair. The treble band is denser, especially in terms of brightness as well as placement in general sound. Increasing the treble height will also make the listener unfamiliar with the dazzling light, but over time the burn-in and the accustomed, the user will surely see its value.

The overall sound quality of the CKR55BT change ‘360 degrees’ compared to the cheap CKR35BT, but the upgrade point that the user receives is the sound field as well as the detail in the sound. Compared to juniors, the CKR55BT offers a wider range of sound, as well as a sound depth of more than one level, making the space sound more comfortable. This spacious sound field also contributes to the sound quality of the airy headphones, which is cleaner and more comfortable than the bass sound of headphones.

The details are further upgraded to reflect this is a pair of headphones at a higher price. The singer’s voice is more pronounced, the instrument (especially the guitar) is clear and the start and stop times are clear. Like other Audio Technica headphones, the CKR55BT is not an “analytical” pair, the sound is not distracted to the smallest detail, but retains its softness and musicality.
