amazon Corsair K68 reviews

When referring to the market in Asia in general or in China in particular, the model of business room machine is widespread with a huge investment. The ideal destination is often the owner equipped with the line of gaming gear and high configuration.

It’s such a harsh operating environment, the gaming gear models for these models must be extremely durable, resist the accidental impact from the user itself. Corsair, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of gaming peripherals, has unleashed a full-fledged “Corsair K68” keyboard at Computex 2017.

With a special, dust-proof, water-resistant construction, the Corsair K68 is sure to be a great name for gamers.

As well as the style of design and layout of its familiar box, Corsair K68 casing box is a combination of modern black and gold features, visual information is somewhat confusing. Anti-dust and waterproof features are also featured on the front.

The back of the Corsair K68 is a more detailed description of the outstanding features of the Corsair K68, in that the Corsair K68’s anti-dust and waterproof construction is also revealed. Other specifications are show on the side of the box.

Overall, the Corsair K68’s design can be viewed as an upgraded version of the Corsair K63 with a full-size layout keypad with 104 full function keys (including keypads). Of course, due to the upgraded version, the Corsair K68 has a lot of great changes, not just around layout. More specifically, the detachable handgrip comes with a specialty that is only found on high-end models such as the K70 or K95. This hand glove is also felt to be more fun and cool than K70’s millet. The face of the Corsair K68 millet is covered with a rubber coating with hexagonal spokes, sufficiently lumpy to prevent slipping on the wrist, and will not leave the user uncomfortable for long periods of use. If you feel you do not need it, you can easily remove it with a simple gesture.

Next to it, which has a fairly elegant design, the Corsair K68 has almost no significant changes in design compared to the K63, except that the media keys are moved from the upper left corner to the upper right corner, Similar to Corsair’s superior lineup, it’s also easier to use. Of course there is no shortage of familiar loudspeaker boost / decrease function keys.

Corsair has a good product design philosophy, which focuses on usability rather than cramming too much technology onto the product. It is clearly visible on each key because the Corsair K68 does not have an FN button or additional layout. Each key will only perform its basic function without adding any extra functionality. Want to lock the Windows key? – there was a Windows lock button; The user wants to turn the backlight on? – there was a backlight switch; Want to increase volume or change tracks? – all have its own function key!

Corsair K68’s keycap is made of ABS, UV-coated and laser-sharp, with a clear, intuitive and modern font. The UV coating on the C68’s keypad seems to have improved a lot compared to the pre-shaved smooth and good typing.

Like the K63 and many other Corsair keyboards, the key size of the Corsair K68 does not go standard, so it’s a bit difficult for users to play keycap. The space key is made of steel surface.

Going deeper into the structure, although the overall plastic structure is quite heavy (1.4kg), strong with thick plastic water, no frame and of course cover all the switch. Corsair has a very basic dustproofing solution: covering a thin rubber membrane, covering the entire switch leg and diverting water to the drain holes below the bottom. This rubber is very thin, can be quite good dispersion, so when the backlight, the light is very uniform and beautiful. Waterproof, according to Corsair’s commitment, the Corsair K68 meets the IP32 standard, which means that dust impacts greater than 2.5mm.

Due to the monochrome backlight system, the Cherry MX switch on the Corsair K68 does not have the same transparent switch cover as the Cherry MX RGB. Unfortunately, Corsair seems to be very hard at restraining user choice, Corsair K68 also has no choice of switches and backlight, the only option is to use Cherry MX Red (45g) and backlight Red LED and some lighting effects can be customized through software support.

Finally, the Corsair K68 cable is not coated with anti-cut fabric, no noise filter, and the USB port is not gold plated. The Corsair K68 supports 100% anti-ghosting, meaning that users can press any key at the same time and still receive the full signal.
