Harman Kardon SOHO is a headset with excellent design, but the accessories are not perfect and the sound quality also stops at the level of easy listening, entertaining.
Harman Kardon comes with a pretty solid and solid plastic container. At the beginning I was also fascinated by this, as this headset is rarely so well-equipped in the mid-range segment, usually just a soft cloth bag. Harman Kardon come with two wires, one with microphones and music controller. If the use of wire breaks are completely interchangeable. However, it is unfortunate that this cord is only about 1.2 meters long, so it may be a bit short when used with a desktop. The accompanying micro is not really excellent, but it can not be disparaged either, probably because the distance from the microphone to the user’s mouth is a bit far.
The use of on-ear design means SOHO almost no sound insulation. So if used in noisy place, the only way is to increase the volume higher. However, I do not recommend this because it is easy to hearing loss.

I chose the competitor to compare to SOHO Beyerdynamic T51p, one of the most appreciated handsets in the past few years. Quite fortunately, these two products have a similar sound quality in the bass strings. They both share quite good violent force, not too violent, quite warm, but the SOHO does not go down quite deep, lack of fullness. In recent years, I have not heard Harman Kardon headphones have really good bass strings, which is in contrast to the overall feel of their portable speakers.
The SOHO midrange is another story. Even though I heard it well, I did not find any sense of nature. Everything is pretty clear, though quite dark. Treble strips are also very nice but feel a bit flatter to create a clear and airy feeling. And it’s easy to guess that a small on-ear headset like the SOHO can hardly deliver a wide sound field.
Although the technical features are not really high, but I have received many compliments of the listener on the practicality of using SOHO. Its sound is generally quite gentle, relaxed so that people do not feel heavy head or tired even after many hours. It’s compatible with many popular music sources that use 128kbps MP3s, or basic sources like smartphones. Vocal, jazz, classic rock and some other soft music are the hallmarks of this headset.
