Design

Although cheaper, the design of the HP Slate 7 is still pretty good care. The edging machine is made of stainless steel holds promise resistance to shock. However, because not a superior product to the back of the HP Slate 7 is only made of plastic. HP has been cleverly designed, so rough surface this back makes it resistant to fingerprints phenomenon. Another important detail other at Slate 7 is the keys are processed fairly well and does not appear the phenomenon of feeling loose but still slightly hard press.

Since there is only a 7-inch screen size, therefore Slate 7 can easy held with one hand. However, perhaps due to the steel frame made from heavy machinery, we can say it is a lot more serious than the iPad mini, but the writer uses it. Moreover, the size of the machine is somewhat thicker (10.7 mm) can make it difficult for those little hands. Anyway, the processing quality of the device is quite good. Although the shell is not monolithic, the feeling is holding HP Slate 7 quite sure and not very much creaking.

Screen:

HP Slate 7 is equipped with a screen with only a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels like rival Memo Pad from Asus. This screen display quality was average, low-contrast color display sometimes inaccurate, somewhat opaque and not fresh like the tablet uses IPS panel or more advanced AMOLED technology. The use ratio of 16: 9 screen makes the Slate 7 somewhat long and somewhat affecting software compatibility and user experience when viewing photos or browsing. HP has equipped the LCD screen Slate 7 technology called “Fringe Field Switching” to improve display quality at a narrow viewing angle. However, the perspective of the machine is still quite poor when tilted just a little Slate 7 is the color that has been distorted.

Performance:

The relatively low price should configure the Slate 7 as a dual-core processor Cortex-A9 1.6GHz and 1GB of RAM alongside 8GB of internal memory. This configuration makes the machine work smoothly on the Android 4.1 platform. However, Slate 7 still has a certain lag when using the swipe on the home screen or in the Chrome app for browsing. The use of a cheap tablet Slate 7 to play the heavy game appears to be an unreasonable job. Another plus point of the Slate 7 is the ability to improve memory in the microSD memory card. However, the writer did not appreciate the slot on the Slate 7 when it has no cover, and it is not easy to remove the hot slot memory card for small and pretty deep.

Battery life:

Slate 7’s battery capacity is not high when it only reached 3500 mAh. With this, the storage level Slate 7 can be used within a day, using light and simple tasks. If you regularly watch movies or play games, the machine only withstands a few hours before recharging.

– Better processing quality.
– Good price.
– Equipped with Beats Audio sound technology.
– Performance fairly.
Disadvantages:
– Monitor was bad.
– Heavy.
– The average battery life.
