Design suitable for many objects – Add more colors
JBL Go 2 measures only 71.2 x 86.0 x 31.6 (mm) and weighs only 184 grams. That means JBL Go 2 is only larger than JBL Go 1 3mm on each side and weighs only 50 grams. A very significant upgrade in design on JBL Go 2 is the addition of more colors. In total, Go 2 now has 12 colors in all, in addition to the basic colors such as black, blue, red, JBL has added many colors such as orange color coral, champagne color, blue … In front of the speaker is still Metal cover plate with red JBL logo.
Go 2 retains familiar design points. As the above function key cluster is still the key like: power, bluetooth, volume up, volume down, play / pause. But the 3.5mm jack jack and charging port have a covered port with the Go 2 logo engraved on it. This upgrade is necessary because now JBL Go 2 is upgraded with IPX7 standard waterproof feature, which is on par with the Apple iPhone 7/ Apple iPhone 7 plus.

One point deducted from JBL Go 2’s design with me is that JBL has removed the spot so you can hook a string to hang the speaker somewhere. I was really confused when JBL removed this hook. Go 1 does not have water resistance, JBL equipped this hook again, while Go 2 is waterproof, it is removed. Perhaps if you want to hang this speaker on your daily backpack, you must buy a speaker case with hooks to remove this Go 2 or simply upgrade to JBL Clip 3.

The waterproof feature lets you confidently bring Go 2 out with you more. Big volume in a small body, even Go 2 can fit in your hand. Clear sound quality, details can help you relax with music.
