Rate this post

1. Overview of the Class

“LawBreakers” offers a distinct classification of characters based on individual functions in a game. Such classification has been created with the consideration of their interaction aimed at fast and furious battles where everyone has something to offer, or rather has a style of play that is unique to them. In this game, the following classes are used:

Assassin
Titan
Gunslinger
Enforcer
Vanguard
Juggernaut
Battle Surgeon
Harrier
Wraith

Each of these classes features different movement capabilities, weaponry and skill sets therefore all of them contribute to different tactical approaches. Now, let us consider these classes and enclose them within the context of the individual members of the Law and Breakers.

2. Assassin: Kitsune and Hellion

Kitsune (Law)

Fighting with jet planes is a common image in video games, but the assassin in ‘Law’ does not rely on the latter’s bulky version of the war machine. Rather, she is equipped with laser holographic swords that she wields extremely well together with a throwing star and a grapple for scale quick movements. This is how she already manages to rage these enemies out and why they do not even get a chance to retaliate.

Primary Weapon: The Arc Blades can be used for rapid slashing attacks since the blades can be rotated to make them intertwined to make killer combos.

Second Weapon: Turning to close combat is not always possible so the Romerus shotgun avails a ranged option to Kitsune.

Special Abilities: With her grappling hook, the diminutive warrior is able to zoom across the battlefield with ease, enhancing both her movement and offensive chances. Attack and dodge maneuver can also be performed thanks to the Flux Dash.

Ultimate Ability: Frenzy – is a short burst where Kitsune can go for broke in attacking her enemies due to the attack speed and damage resistance boost she receives within the short span.

Hellion (Breakers)

In Hellion, the unique ‘Breaker’ faction, which is similar to Kitsune, is more diabolical, tempestuous and unholy in effects. While ‘Kitsune’ is a well trains assassin, hellion’s strength derives from vile aggression and raw strength.

Primary Weapon: just like kitsune, hellion also carries two swords of energy, however the swings he performs are less elegant and more savage.

Secondary Weapon: The Romerus shotgun is also accessible in both factions, yet Hellions own animations and voice lines, make it look rough. Special Abilities: Hellion tends to employ his grappling hook in an aggressive manner as well, often pulling him in the middle of the battle instead of escaping out of one. His Flux Dash, like Kitsune’s, is employed for damaging enemies while on the move at a fast pace.

Ultimate Ability: Frenzy – The ultimate ability of Hellion bears an identical resemblance to that of Kitsune but there is a heightened level of chaotic energy which in turn supports his aggressive nature even more.

Verdict on Assassin Class:

The Assassin class is a good fit for daring players, who loves extreme risk and extreme reward. Because both Kitsune and Hellion flourish in the midst of disorder and mayhem, they do not waste time on engaging the enemies, inflicting some damage, and scurrying off. Unfortunately, their combat style, which relies more on CQC and agile movement, is a pitfall when faced with open ground or heavily armored foes. In conclusion, the Assassin class added a very interesting element to ‘LawBreakers’ allowing players to feign aggressiveness and play such a style.

3. Titan: Bomchelle & Cronos

Bomchelle (Law)

Bomchelle, a Titan from the Law faction, is an all-out brute force who aims to vanquish her foes using heavy artillery. She comes with a rocket launcher and high health so she is never in short supply of cover from her enemy.

Primary Weapon: The Head-Maker is a destructive lethal weapon that unleashes a wide impact area making it possible to properly scatter a horde of enemies.
Secondary Weapon: The product is primary close-range armament that is effective in varying combat situations and provides Bomchelle with additional means of dealing with enemies invading her space.

Special Abilities: Bomchelle can deploy a Neutron Mine that slows down enemies and helps to displace them by creating an environment of artificial gravity. He also has an extraordinary jumping ability, which helps him turn his position in combat in an instant.

Ultimate Ability: BM COMING – Appraisal. When Bomchelle sees red, she suppresses all inhibition and fear and attacks at maximum capacity. This aggression comes with increase in attack damage and speed, and it turns her into a force too great to be stopped.

Cronos (Breakers)

Titans of the Breakers faction, Cronos possesses the exact capabilities as Bomchelle, however with more emphasis on demolishing everything. Where Bomchelle has method, Cronos does not.

Primary Weapon: Like Bomchelle, Cronos uses the Hammerhead rocket launcher, however his has different animations and sound design during the attacks which makes it feel more brutal.
Secondary Weapon: Swinging the velocity edition of the weapon with the rotating barrel effectively cuts enemies at close distances.

Special Abilities: Like with Bomchelle, he performs Neutron Mine, however, in a more random way, making him feel more out of control.

Ultimate Ability: BM COMING – Within a short window, subsuming control of Cronos within the battle unleashes other wrath within him, augmenting damage inflicted during that time and increasing speed of attack.

Titans: Overview of the Class

The Titan class, which includes characters Bomchelle and Cronos, comes highly recommended for those players who want to be in the thick of battle dishing out or absorbing damage. This is so because Titans are very aggressive and defensive at the same time owing to their heavy weapons and superior endurance. They have, however, an Achilles heel since they tend to move slower and have a larger surface area, hence rendering them prone to faster reaching contenders. However, there abilities to inflict devastating damage usually do offset whatever disadvantages there are that are related to their agility, thereby allowing them to dictation the flow of the encounter. For these reasons, such as the destructive power inherent in them, Titans are quite popular with individuals who love to play ‘Lawbreakers’ and are into ‘blowing things up.’

4. Gunslinger: Axel & Faust

Axel (Law) Well, Axel: a Convict Gunslinger, may be considered a balanced, medium range fighter whose main focus is aimed shots. Carrying two pistols at once, Axel creates a unique weapon of speed and movement and eliminates enemies while running even from a distance.

Primary Weapon: The main long-distance pistol of Axel, the Omega is meant primarily for sniper shots. It has a charge ability for stronger damage making it quite dangerous in the hands of expert shooters.
Secondary Weapon: The Alpha pistol is a secondary weapon for Axel that has a faster rate of fire and provides closer damage in situations where enemies get in too close for comfort.

Special Abilities: Axel could move quickly in any direction, making him an extreme threat in combat. His Equalizer ability disorients enemies and causes a temporary slowdown, allowing him quick slugs to the head or a wriggle out of shooting range.
Ultimate Ability: Warp mission allows Axel to focus on a spot and instantly appears there, availing an opportunity to either evade enemies or attack them by surprise.

Faust (Breakers)

Faust, as the Breakers’ Gunslinger, accurately echoes each and every one of Axel’s capabilities, only that his personality is darker. Axel is precise and looks at the bigger picture but on the other hand, Faust is more a loose cannon and applies the same skills in a more random way.

Primary Weapon; The Omega pistol remains Faust’s weapon of choice at range but his animations and voice lines make him appear as though he is wilder than Axel.
Secondary Weapon: The Alpha pistol is utilized by Faust in the same way as that of Axel, with enemies getting up close he prefers to spray and pray.

Special Abilities: The dash and Equalizer abilities of Faust are the same as those of Axel; however, due to his erratic demeanor, it is harder to predict what he will do next.
Ultimate Ability: Warp – Similar to Axel, Faust is able to teleport to any place he wishes but more often than not, this ability is used to confront enemies instead of fleeing from them.

Gunslinger Class Evaluation:

Gunslinger class allows to achieve the appropriate level of mobility and accuracy, hence, achievements of any player in the game who prefers shooting enemies from a distance while avoiding them by the mobility of Axel and Faust are easy to realize. Both fighters are best in the middle distance where they can deftly maneuver on the wide playing area, shooting enemies with pistols and making quick dashes. Nevertheless, the absence of heavy weaponry and sunken health points make them heavily exposed to ranged combat with mid and heavy classes in the likes of Titan and Juggernaut. In as much as this is the case, Gunslingers are easily the most gratifying profile to play for clients who prefer accuracy and tactical placement, affording some of the best moments during the action in the video game ‘LawBreakers’.

5. Enforcer: Maverick & Toska-9

Maverick (Law)

Law’s Enforcer, Maverick is a one-stop solution for leading the charge and supporting teammates with their offensive and defensive capabilities. She carries an assault rifle and is proficient in combat mоre than a half of the battlefield.

Primary weapon: The Aerator assault rifle is well-suited for short to medium remote engagements and boasts a high level of precision alongside a quite good rate of fire.
Secondary weapon: The Badger pistol not only helps in shots while the assault rifle is out in the reload but also aids in engaging a closer combat range with the enemy.

Special abilities: The Distortion Field ability as utilized by Maverick’s provides a boost in speed for herself and her allies over a certain radius making her useful for both offense and defense. She also possesses Electromag Charge which makes it impossible for enemies to use abilities in the area around it, great for unique situations where a fight could go either way.

Ultimate Ability: Bloodhound Missiles – A barrage of missiles capable of seeking targeted opponents is fired by Maverick in order to cause significant area effects. These missiles have the potential to win battles by destroying important individuals or groups of enemies.

Toska-9 (Breakers)

Toska-9, as the Breaker’s Enforcer, is in every way a counterpart to Maverick, devoid of order and has more chaos in her attitude. In spite of all Marvin’s disciplined military efficiency, there will always be Maverick’s twin in revolutionary, lying furious – Toska-9.

Primary Weapon: Just like Maverick, Toska-9 uses the Aerator assault rifle however, her skins and her motion make it clear that she is a wild beast in combat.
Secondary Weapon: The Badger pistol serves as her backup weapon, and it has the same stats and function as that of Maverick’s flimsy gun.

Special Abilities: Toska-9 is capable of using a more aggressive Distortion Field to enhance speed for herself and her nearby teammates. Works with Electromag Charge but does it in a more chaotic ‘last hope’ style. Ultimate Ability: Bloodhound Missiles – It’s the same for Toska-9 as it is for Maverick, a strike of homing missiles aimed to destroy the high-value targets, voice lines and all execution of course, it’s Toska who owns the attack and makes it wild and very destructive.

Enforcer Class Overview:

As most of the opposing team classes are represented by Maverick and Toska-9, the Enforcer class is a must have in the composition because they are quite flexible. More so, the usage of Aerator assault rifle enables delivery of sustained damage over time, whilst Distortion Field and Electromag Charge enhances mobility and tactical disruption, respectively. This class is especially suited to players, who appreciate a healthy balance between the offensive and support aspects in gameplay due to the Enforcers’ ability to spearhead a push, counter enemies’ skill and assist their teammates by providing speed. Bloodhound Missiles in Enforcers’ highest ability is a powerful offensive or defensive weapon depending of what stage in the combat they are in which makes the Enforcer class a viable and dependable class in almost every player’s roster. On the downside, having a jack-of-all-trades build does not allow them to be as effective in combat as some of the other classes in specialized roles because they may be easily outmatched by players with more perfected skills.

6. Vanguard: Sunshine & Baron

Sunshine (Law)

Sunshine, the Law’s Vanguard, is a very fast character whose abilities revolve around fighting in the air. Flying above the enemy’s heads, Sunshine carries a minigun attached to his back and has a jet pack installed making her very proficient in raining fire but also very hard to touch due to her speed and ability to fly up and down.

Primary Weapon: The Hydra Minigun delivers an unending stream of rounds that enables Sunshine to deal damage consistently even at mid-to-long range. The caliber of the weapon slowly increases the more it is held making it deadly if the enemy is not silenced.

Secondary Weapon: Sunshine also carries Starfall, a splash damage grenade launcher which comes in handy to deal with enemy cover and groups of enemies.

Special Abilities: Sunshine’s Afterburners let her fly really fast giving her vertical mobility that is unmatched in “LawBreakers.” She also has Pulse Wave, a skill that causes enemies within her vicinity to be pushed away creating a favorable position for her or helping in controlling fights.

Ultimate Ability: Starfall – Sunshine propels herself upwards before dropping aggressively onto the floor, dealing extensive damage in the radius of effect as she lands. This particular ultimate is useful in offense, defense but mostly, when enemies are in close proximity.

Baron (Breakers)

Baron, the Vanguard of the Breakers possesses the same powers as Sunshine, however, is more aggressive and chaotic in his approach. Unlike Sunshine who is an aerial assassin with a tactical grounded approach; Baron is erratic and savage, manipulating his weapons in an over-the-top manner.

Primary Weapon: The Hydra Minigun is still Baron’s instrument of destruction but his insignia of brashness can be noticed in his combat.

Secondary Weapon: As with sunshine, Baron also has Starfall grenades, but his use of the weapons is given a more melee action focus, as he more often than not, jumps right in the fight and uses the grenades at very close range.

Special Abilities: Afterburners and Pulse Wave are similar to Sunshine’s abilities, although Baron prefers aggressive and crazed execution.

Ultimate Ability: Starfall – The impact on the battlefield is as equal as Sunshine’s ultimate but it has even more intense sound design and animations when Baron descends on the scene.

Vanguard Class Review

The Vanguard class consists of Sunshine and Baron, which focuses on speed, mobility, and aerial combat. Such characters are ideal for those gamers, who like to fly in the air, disorient the enemies, and strike at the right time. Hydraminigan enables Vanguards to deal ever-ending damage to the enemies, while Afterburners allow them unmatched vertical height.

Their ultimate, which is called Starfall, is one of the best looking and most devastating ultimates in the game, making a perfect finishing move in case one desires to shift the balance of the combat. Nevertheless, due to the fact that they depend on mobility most of the time, they can easily suffer in a confined space and against a foe, which is heavily equipped with anti-air. Notwithstanding, the Vanguards also offer exciting and quick gameplay in “LawBreakers” thus having it mallinks swift aerial play.

7. Juggernaut: Nash & Aegis N.A.M.A (Tie the Aegis).

Juggernaut of the Law also known as Nash is a damage absorbing character whose purpose is to assert and maintain control of the battlefield by force. Thanks to a shotgun that he carries and to temporary barriers that he can create, Nash is a lethal force in any close quarter battle.

Primary Weapon: The Instigator shotgun is dangerous at point blank range, thus giving the Juggernaut an advantage over his foes at close quarters. Secondary Weapon: Nash also wields the Battering Ram, a shield that can be used to block incoming damage and ram through enemies for knockback and damage.

Special abilities: Nash can use Holo-Deflector devices that create an energy shield that absorbs damage for a short period. His special moves allow him to sweep through enemies charging ahead, damaging and throwing away any opponents in the way.

Ultimate Ability: Fortify – Nash takes cover under his shotgun and loads up armored shields allowing him to take up a frontline position and absorb massive amounts of damage while still fighting back using his shotgun.

Aegis (Breakers)

Like Nash, Aegis, the Juggernaut of the Breakers possesses from Aegis’s personality, which is more brutal and destructive. While Nash cherishes discipline and order, Aegis is all about obliteration.

Primary Weapon: This shotgun is referred to as the Instigator and is similar to Nash’s own shotgun but, Aegis uses it in a more flamboyant manner as per the associated animations and pursuing voice lines of the weapon.
Secondary Weapon: The Battering Ram shield has the same effect; it enables Aegis to push opponents back while taking damage and advancing at the same time.

Special Abilities: The Holo-Deflector and Charge abilities of Aegis are also Nash’s abilities however Aegis uses such abilities in a more reckless manner. Ultimate Ability: Fortify – Just as it is for Nash, Aegis is also granted an enormous armor increase which protects him from threats on the battlefield for a limited time.

Review of Juggernaut Class

The Juggernaut class agencies that are Nash and Aegis in Law Breakers is the archetype tank. These characters fit players who are fond of taking damage for the sake of their team and creating enough space to disrupt enemies with a shot gun in hand and other defenses. With the Holo-Deflector which comes in handy as a shield, the Juggernauts are able to hold choke points or shield their teammates from oncoming fire. Their ultimate to Fortify makes up for a short while or completely renders them invincible as it creates conditions to breach the enemy lines or defend an area effectively. But still the slight movement speed and caution of initiation of fights make them susceptible to enemies having long range or fast movement speed. Even with these drawbacks Juggernauts play an important role in defending and making plays for the team.

Conclusion: They are great characters but there are very few games because of their limitation

The greatest asset of LawBreakers was in its characters. The different skills, characteristics and look of each character created a feeling of a living and colorful cast that catered to many playstyles while daring to defy the conventional limits of any shooter mechanics. If you were on The Law side and enjoyed its disciplined military action or you were drawn to the disorderly and defiant Breakers,

LawBreakers came with a variety of characters that were interesting, engaging and enjoyable to play.

Not only was it a sad reality that the game flopped commercially, but there are those who have positive recollections about the risky strides forward which it made in the competitive shooter infusion. With gravity-defying gameplay complemented by distinct roles for each character, “LawBreakers” was a fast-paced, tactical out of the box shooter that no other game in the market then could compare. Because of this, the lessons learned from “LawBreakers” are still evident in the contemporary titles, thus although the game did not do well in the market, such helped the game and even other successful games of the genre.

Looking back, the characters of “LawBreakers” was a testament to the aspiration of the game to do the impossible in a team based shooter. If the shelf life of the game was short, there are still memories such as those of the Assassin skillfully flying in a zero gravity area, the Enforcer inundating his foes with bloodhound missiles, or the Vanguard who brings the house down on enemies with the StarFall, which will linger in the player’s minds long after the game’s servers go down.
