amazon LG Optimus L7 II reviews

The product uses a 4.3 inch IPS touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This model is equipped with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory that can be expanded with up to 32 GB of memory.

It runs Android 4.1 and has an 8 megapixel camera. The product fully supports 3G and Wi-Fi connections. Features such as Quickmemo, Qslide, Quick Translator … from the company’s advanced model is also integrated on the LG Optimus L7 II.

Design

Still keeping the screen size is 4.3 inches like the old but the LG Optimus L7 II was completely redesigned compared to previous product, rounded 4 edge.

The back cover was smoothly redesigned, while the back of the camera back, flash and LG logo were lined up and close to the back. All made sense to hold the phone smooth, beautiful hands.

The buttons of the machine are also rearranged. The power button is attached to the right side of the machine, with only the headphone jack on the top. The left side is set to the volume button, while the Quick Memo function is located directly on the volume button, which is convenient for users when needed.

The front side is a 4.3-inch screen and three function keys in which the Home button is redesigned with a color-changing LED to announce the mode of the phone as it does on its high-end G Pro model.

Screen

Screen quality is always an advantage on LG smartphones. By using IPS panels, the 4.3-inch screen of the LG Optimus L7 II delivers stunning, high-quality, impressive, true-to-life color reproduction.

The high brightness screen enables users to use the product under a variety of lighting conditions. One advantage of the IPS screen is the wide viewing angle, with the L7 II we can see an angle of about 170 degrees without still seeing the wrong color. However, the machine does not have automatic brightness adjustment mode, so it is slightly inconvenient in some cases.

LG not only upgraded the hardware for the LG Optimus L7 II smartphone but also brought features from its high-end smartphones to the model.

The first feature to be upgraded is Quick Memo. With the hard key on the left side of the machine or the notification bar, users can be able to make notes quickly from any application. Quick Memo is quite handy when you need a quick screen capture to take notes and share right away with your friends, relatives via instant messenger, email, social networking.

Another interesting application on the LG Optimus L7 II is the Quick Translator, which quickly translates the language through a network connection such as 3G or Wi-Fi, supporting more than 40 languages. Quick Translator can be translated in a line or word, just by using the camera scan on the translation. The processing and translation process takes place quickly. In addition, users can also download more dictionaries from Google Play to further support translation.

Qslide function previously only on the LG Optimus G advanced line is now equipped on the L7 II. With multitasking capabilities, Qslide allows you to run multiple applications simultaneously, like surfing the web, watching videos and messaging. When you start Qslide, it will dim one of the two applications. Users can adjust the opacity by dragging the Qslide bar on the screen and adjust the size of each application for convenient use.

Camera

The camera of the LG Optimus L7 II is upscaled to 8 megapixels with the majority of mid-range smartphones today. The camera supports HD movie recording.

Image quality on the machine at a decent level. Under normal lighting conditions, the L7 II produces clear, detailed images. Flashled flashlight is quite impressive in the case of lack of bright details of the display does not burn well, but turned off when the flash noise appears much.

Performance and battery life

LG is equipped with the L7 II 1GHz dual-core processor, 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory that can be expanded with up to 32 GB of memory. With this configuration, running applications like Quick Memo or Qslide of the machine is good and there is no lag phenomenon.

But with less than 1GB of RAM, running a lot of heavy applications like games makes the machine appear latency in response to the operation.

The quadrant Benchmark test scores 2467 points in the mid-range smartphone segment.

In the graphical test using Nenamark2 application, the machine reaches 22 frames per second in maximum resolution.

The point worth mentioning on LG’s L-line smartphone is the battery life. With a battery capacity of up to 2460 mAh, the LG Optimus L7 II can fully meet the needs of users who regularly connect to 3G to surf the web or social networking and mail sync can use the machine for a day. If customized 3G and Wi-Fi connections as well as screen brightness, the machine can use continuous for nearly 2 days.

Like the other L series II smartphones, the LG Optimus L7 II also comes with a 2-SIM version that is convenient for the user to just press the fast SIM switch to use the SIM card as desired.
