amazon MEE audio Connect reviews
Design
Mee Connect has a square design that vigorously corners and faces upward like a cupcake. The device is quite compact, with just half the size of a mid-sized Xiaomi backup battery. The upper side has a simple logotype.
On the right side there is a power switch with two buttons marked A and B on both sides. Here are two control buttons that connect the two (or each) two headsets or two speakers at the same time. This feature allows two people to watch the same movie with their own Bluetooth headset, or use two wireless speakers at different angles for greater sound. It weighs just 31g.
Parameter
As a wireless transmitter, of course Connect is focused on integrating the latest wireless broadcasting technologies. Bluetooth 4.0 is included with aptX low latency. This aptX standard ensures the least compressible signal possible, resulting in better audio quality. The low latency feature reduces the signal latency between the source and the headset to 30ms, avoiding “sound catch up image” when watching movies.
At the input, the device can receive devices using optical ports, 3.5mm port and also the traditional transmitter using RCA wire. So even the oldest TVs, expensive radios, players, music players, phones and tablets can connect to Connect.
Inside the machine is a 220mAh battery, promising about 12 hours of use with a headset / speaker and about 10 hours with 2 devices. Of course, this number is going to fluctuate, not as a parameter.

Practical use
+ Start connecting
Connect does not have any display to select the connected device, so the connection is made much simpler. Just turn on the power of Connect, then press the A or B button until the flashing lights. On the headset or speaker, turn on the pairing mode and bring it closer to Connect with two connected devices. Listening is complicated, but this connection is even faster than connecting the speakers or headphones to the phone. Connection speed is also quite fast, try the Pocket Portable Speaker, Sennheiser PXC550 and BeyerDynamic Byron BT headphones, all connected after pairing mode only after 1-2 seconds and keep the connection and not have problem.
+ Connect 2 devices
To connect to 2 speakers or headphones, just connect to a device as mentioned above, then connect the other device with the same way with the remaining B or A button. The connection speed is not slow down, the sound quality and the ability to receive waves is not weak when used with 2 devices. The difference is that in this mode is the battery quality, the battery will drain faster. With this type of connection, two people can listen to the same music or watch a movie at the same source. Interestingly, individual mobile speakers can be paired with Connect to create a 2.0 speaker system that doubles the volume.
+ Broadcast capability
The introduction of Connect has the potential to broadcast around 10 meters, and in fact this distance is quite right, if there are no obstructions too large. Through the wall, Connect has the ability to pass through two brick walls, but the quality of music and film is still good, to the third wall, the connection begins to interrupt. The new Bluetooth has better tuning than the old standards, but it’s not as powerful to play so far.
+ Quality of music
For newer phones, which are equipped with aptX technology with less compression than the old standards, the sound quality of Connect is almost unchanged. The biggest difference is when using the device with a phone, an old tablet, or a laptop. Try with the Sennheiser PXC550 and Beyer Byron BT headphones and laptops. When used directly with the computer, the sound quality is average. Since there is no comparison, I always think this is good, showing the ability of the headset. But when used with Mee Connect, the sound quality is increased quite a lot. Increased detail, better vocal support and cleaner strips. The volume is almost unchanged, but the sound field is somewhat wider, especially the higher notes that reach the ears.
+ Delayed movie
One of the biggest advantages of Connect is the aptX low latency standard, which not only keeps the sound quality as mentioned above, but also low latency of only 30ms. One of the downsides to the wireless headset is that the main headphone to watch is the latency of the source, which makes the image on the film play before the sound reaches the ears of the listener. With the new aptX enabled headsets, Connect will take full advantage of this, reducing latency to the limit. Trying out with the Sennheiser PXC550, the latency was so low that the picture was accompanied by very little delay. Connect is a very good product to watch movies for this reason.
+ Battery life
The company’s announced battery life is 12 hours for a headset and 10 hours for two headsets at once. This is also a good battery for a small device like Connect. But is designed to use a place with TV or computer so you can plug the charger continuously so long battery life is not a problem. About 12 hours long enough if the user decides to take Connect to use with mobile devices.
