amazon Razer Phone reviews

Razer is a manufacturer of gaming gear that is popular among gamers and users today. In addition, with the tremendous growth of smartphone games such as MOBAs and FPS games becoming more and more alien to the mobile phone market, that may be one reason the Razer Phone was born.

Design

The Razer Phone really does not come with a design that’s as high-end as we’ve seen in the market, with dimensions of 158.5 x 77.7 x 8 mm and weight of 197.8 grams.

We can see that the Razer Phone does not have a trendsetting design in the phone market, such as the classic bezel design or the curved bezel, nor the new screen aspect ratio. The machine is not really delicate, a square phone, basically as a tool rather than a luxury item, and we enjoyed it in this way.

We will have a 5.7 inch screen and a 16: 9 aspect ratio. The Razer Phone is a phablet with a nice screen. The screen is made of Gorilla Glass 3 quite old fashioned, but with our experience, this is still one of the pretty glasses to prevent scratches.

It has two speakers on the top and bottom of the screen, with this layout, the Razer Phone will provide a good gaming experience for users. But besides that the dust will reduce the quality of speakers and cleaning the machine will be much more often and this really makes the user feel uncomfortable. In addition, the bezel also includes a selfie 8 MP camera and LED indicator.

The two sides of the machine are designed with black metal strip stretching, associated with the laptop model of the company. The right side includes a power button with integrated fingerprint and memory card slot and nano sim. The left side has a volume down button and with this design, the Razer Phone is very subtle and beautiful.

The top and bottom of the handset are nothing special, apart from a USB Type-C charging connector and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The back of the machine is equipped with a dual camera with flash and Razer logo “snake head” familiar.

Screen

The Razer Phone is a 5.7″ screen that has a lot of names, such as ULTRAMOTION, 120 HZ, IZGO, Wide Color Gamut. Razer Phone has become the world’s first 120 Hz ultramotion phone.

But for a phone, all games can not be up to 120 FPS to reveal all the power that this monitor brings, regardless of whether you lowered the resolution to any size. However, the screen is still smoother and much more impressive. The color of the screen is very accurate.

But with the brightness of the screen, this is a big minus from the machine, because the maximum brightness of the machine is really quite low, so the use of outdoor is almost impossible.

Battery life

With a 4,000 mAh battery, we can see that this is one of the great battery, and for the impressive results, please see the results below.

One point to note about Raze Phone is that it does not support wireless charging. We are getting closer to the wireless era, so this should really be on the flagship at the moment.

But, Quickcharge 4+ is integrated, it can compensate for that, with 30 minutes, the machine can charge from 0% to 70%, and with a 4,000 mAh battery, this is really impressive.

Display

Razer knows how to customize its operating system with Nova Launcher on Android 7.1.1, and with a smoother screen it will be a nice and impressive interface.

Because Nova Launcher is a very popular open-source interface, Razer has used up all of its capabilities to customize.

Camera

Like the recent flagship, dual cameras are still a trend. Razer also caught up with that trend by equipping his son with a pair of 12 MP f / 1.7 wide-angle cameras and 12 MP f / 2.6 telephoto cameras. And the quality of the Razer Phone is really good and cool, but the contrast problem is not good.

Sunshine is one of the problems that Raze Phone is entangled, the picture is blurred and out of focus clearly. But with just enough light, the camera produces a pretty picture that fits in well with the eyes.

With the dual camera, Razer offers a technology similar to the 2x optical zoom but with a “seamless zoom”, good image quality, and true color.

HDR also compensates for the quality of the picture, we recommend that you keep the HDR throughout the shooting, both telephoto and wide angle.

Under light conditions, the picture is quite noise and blur, this is not the strength of the Razer Phone.

Equipped with an 8 MP selfie camera with a f / 2.0 aperture, Razer impressed me a lot. The picture is much more beautiful, no beauty mode or AI Camera, so the selfie followers will certainly not be interested. Another important thing is that HDR should still turn on even if selfie to get better image quality.
