Bass

Recently, the range of under $50 has not been the same as before, no more super powerful bass as much as the legendary CX or PL11 previously reduced to be able to hear more genres. For example, the E10 with the stranded version also has a slightly lower bass or T1 is said to have a moderate bass output. MH 415 is also out of trend with a moderate bass, easy to hear and enjoy. Continuing with the bass drop, I would say it’s about 5/10, almost neutral, just right. The quantity is pretty good and not bad for a cheap range product. Impact, floating well, more than many low-life lines. The CX Impact range can only be said as coming, but the MH 415 can be said to be good. Which beat out the beat, control over Sennheiser, do not do not warm the whole sound. Mojave is still, still the bass and bouncing. If you listen to a lot of bass lines, say the Sennheiser CX, it will say MH 415 has a sharp bass, a bit sharp and sure too. I feel too moderate, this is a good overall bass, playing the majority of music. This bass will not have many laid back features, as light as Sennheiser, but in terms of art, the neutral is much more.

Mid bass is neat, the bass body is strong, not pull the tail. Because the bass is compact, you can not expect sub bass to be strong. The bass was neatly beaten, still sharp and mid-pitched, not screeching. So listen to the MH 415 and the more subdued bass, then you’ll tell MH 415 to “miss something”. This is true, if Somic loosen the sub bass a bit, giving it a bit louder, pulling the tail a little longer is better.

Mid

MH 415 for a slightly warm, slightly sweet, not too bright. If you look for the high, powerful voice of the female diva MH 415 is probably not the top headphones. Unlike the E10 which makes the singer’s voice shine brighter, the MH 415 “sharpens”. To be fair, the mid 415 is a bit more human-friendly. The soaring voices of Mariah Carey, Celine Dion or Yao si ting are soothing a bit. The sib phenomenon we often encounter in high mid headphones has been completely disappeared. The vocalist is also backward, but slightly backwards to the background music. If we say mid E10 high, rough and bright then we can say mid MH 415 is a smooth and easy to enjoy. I especially like the female voice of MH 415 more male voice. Norah Jones’s voice is smoother and softer than ever. Norah Jones’s songs are primarily about easy listening, so MH 415 makes this part of the song good, nothing to fault.

MH 415’s instrument playing is hard to beat. Let’s say that at this price that to play instruments GOOD is probably not yet, but MH 415 still surprised me at some point. The first point to say on the bass is that drums, the very light bass in the vocal Norah Jones is clearly shown. The second point is the guitar part: the guitar is well known and full. The guitar sound is not sharp, but the body sound is good.

Treble

As mentioned above, the mid roll off is a bit early, and the treble is not the strength of MH 415. In Tong Li’s songs there is a feeling of “bumps” when the treble floats across the head. In the next upgrade if Somic upgraded in the treble a little more will be a lot better. In terms of overallity, treble still performs the task of making the background, still emerging at the right time.
