amazon SoundMagic E11C reviews

Design

Rather than being made of plastic as the same price pair, the E10C and now the E11C are lightweight aluminum housing. E11C currently has only a gray color option, but perhaps in the near future the company will also add other colors similar to the E10C. Another difference I found is that the E11C shell is matte, so perhaps in the long run will be scratched compared to the previous version.

The E11C’s strings are made of silver, according to the company, for hi-res quality, but the sound quality of the ‘Hi-res’ head is to be found in the next section. On this string we also have a music control, call and volume control. Instead of having separate buttons, the E11C’s controls are straight, so it’s harder to press than on the road. This is a small disadvantage, users will take a while to get accustomed before pressing the button exactly.

The microphone and control panel use full functionality for both android and ios.

Jack plugs are also made of aluminum and reinforced quite firmly, which is crossed by 45 degrees. I like the ‘L’ jack better myself, as it will help in the bag, but this type of crossover also helps to break the cord, causing loss of volume.

The body of the headset is straight, so it ‘clings’ to the user’s ears most of the time, so the quality of the sucker affects the comfort and sound insulation. The suits that the company attached is not bad, but use a pair of thick ‘spinfit’, which can rotate depending on the ear will improve the quality. If you choose the right type of foam, the sound quality of the E11C is good enough, equaling 90% of the around-the-ear monitor.

Sound quality assessment

Launched from 2012, but so far E10C users are still looking for purchase and use simply because its sound quality is perfect, no strings are ‘forgotten’ so no matter what music is still playing Activate the good of that music. Coming to the E11C, the company retains almost intact sound, the change is almost nonexistent, but still enough to notice when there are two ears to compare.

The whole E11C is still very clean, with no background noise is simply because the bass is very compact. The bass volume of Cécile Corbel’s Spiller was at a sufficient level, but focused on performing well. Each drum stand is clear, high impact and not rattling and thin as the same price range from Sennheiser. The E10C and E11C have more mid-bass than sub-bass, but also keep the cleanliness of the background as mentioned, and of course not to be ‘bleed’ other sounds.

Those who only listen to EDM with continuous bass will give the bass of the E11C a ‘little’, but if you really listen to it will know its value because it is a bass with clear texture, very good control.

By reversing the trend of cheap and midrange earphones, the E11C features a mid-range, rather dry, ‘soft’ feel after a burn-in period. Mid’s E11C has even more high-mid than E10C, so there is a bit more rough.

But, this is a clean, rustic, and colorless tune.  Voice is exactly what the music reaches to the headset, thus creating a natural, realistic sound that is rare in cheap headphones. This ‘real’ also helps the E11C perform well in instrumental music, as it does not sweeten out, rendering the timbre. Like bass, the midrange does not flatter the user’s ears, but the higher the level, the more technically sound.

The point that E11C does very well, especially for a pair of earphones under $50 that is high. E10C has a lot of treble, E11C is even more, with very high brightness should create good metal properties. This treble is also real, thorny should be special or in the electric guitar, violent for the Rock and Metal.

It’s hard to say that any pair of earphones under $50 have a ‘good’ sound, but we can expect the E11C to be ‘pretty’. The sound is clean, so the sound elements can be placed in the right place and separated from each other. The treble of the E11C is slightly better than the E10C, so in the more treble at the edge of the ear, the sound field is further pushed forward than the predecessor, because the treble sharpness also affects a lot of negative width soundtage of earphones!
