HA-P90SD owns a sturdy, heavy and expensive “metal” design with a weight of 280 g, 12.3 cm in length and 2.15 cm in thickness. Control systems, volume controls, gain and gain ports are designed with simplicity. TEAC also equips the standard USB port HA-P90SD very easy to plug Apple devices (lightning cable, 30-pin) when using HA-P90SD as DAC / AMP.
The HA-P90SD has no internal memory that plays music via MicroSD memory card. The BF606 is Blackfin’s AnalogDevices CPU, which makes playing high-quality music files such as 24bit / 192kHz or DSD smooth, with less jitter and lag. Supported music files are FLAC, WAV, MP3, AAC, DSF and DFF.
The HA-P90SD uses the Burr-Brown PCM1795 DAC chip (integrated on the UD-501, TEAC’s high-end DAC for over $ 1,000) for up to 24bit / 192kHz. Inside is the low-noise OPA1602 in the amplifier class AB with wide dynamic range that promises a rich, detailed sound, and spacious sound field.
Owning 3.460 mAh battery capacity, the HA-P90SD can play high-quality music continuously for 7 hours, to meet the needs of mobile music of the majority of users.
