Prior to UE Wonderboom, the UEBom 2 predecessor was and still is one of the most popular Bluetooth handsets in the market.
Just like UE Boom 2, UE Wonderboom is more like a miniature version, with 360-degree vibrant surround sound, 15 hours of battery life and IPX7 water resistant standards.
Overall, UE Wonderboom is almost a smaller, more compact version of Boom 2 and Megaboom. And as mentioned above, it is also “inheriting” all similar features, including:

Sound
Bluetooth up to 33m actually makes UE Wonderboom comfortable for music from your smartphone within one to two rooms.
However, Wonderboom does not have a 3.5mm secondary port as Boom 2, so obviously you can not play music with a plugged-in smartphone. Also, you can not receive calls or call virtual assistants as Siri like Boom 2.
Sound quality is excellent at every volume level, and I’m even willing to give it to 11 out of 10 because of its solid and authentic bass.
Performance is quite stable, although Wonderboom will sometimes have some difficulty at medium range, but this is acceptable as it is common in most other Bluetooth speakers same market segmentation.
Waterproof
Wonderboom’s IPX7 standard means that it can be in water at a depth of 1m within 30 minutes.
So, you can use the speakers right next to the pool or in the bathroom. And even if it accidentally falls into the lake, it can automatically float and float while the sound is still playing.
Design
With round cylindrical design, Wonderboom will occupy a larger area than UE Roll 2 inside your bag / backpack. But for me personally, carrying it when traveling is not a big deal.
The attraction of UE Wonderboom is the harmonious color, eye catching and up to 6 options for users, including orange, blue, light pink, light purple, gray and black.
It also provides an audible alert when the speaker is found and after successfully connecting to any Bluetooth device.
Application support
You can connect to another UE Wonderboom loudspeaker to customize the sound with the UE smartphone application. This is a fairly smart and useful feature for the expansion and connectivity of UE speakers.
