Sound
I find it quite sad that the current market or the headphones labeled for motion is usually the low-end line and the sound quality is not perfect to a level to enjoy. But ADV is an exception. ADV is a mid-range headset, but what it delivers is worth the price. Westone has succeeded in bringing the most balanced sound to its most expensive product.
Bass
If you listen to Audio Technica of Japan, you will see the bass of the two companies a different sky. While ATH has a lyrical and poetic bass: soft, gentle, echoes and tails, Westone has a very serious bass, thick, solid, rich enough, deep and with little tail. To say that you like bass any more than I would say Westone! In any song, from classical to electronic, ADV Alpha always gives a very rounded, thick, full bass but always neat.
The speed of ADV is really good, this is the point ATH should study because quite a lot of mid-range and high-end headphones of Japan headphones are still quite long tail. This makes ADV able to play a lot of different genres that require fast bass like Rock, Metal, Classical music, etc. But this thick bass still performs best in pop music! I like the bass of ADV when going with Shins’ Simple Song, it definitely gives a neat and powerful sound. One more thing is that the bass of the ADV is bass down. That is, if you listen carefully, you will see the bass ADV beats parallel to the ear and go down not hit straight into the ear. This sound must be heard to hear, but really not much effect because these two types are equally sharp and sure, not a big problem.
Mid
Mid ADV is quite advanced, neutral and slightly. Again Westone is different from ATH, Westone’s midpoint is not sweet, it’s real and clings to the music. I went through some vocal as well as pop the midpoint of the ADV quite well.
Treble
Treble of ADV must use great words to describe! Treble ADV in a great way! I like the treble of Celine Dion’s songs, which are separate, bright and true. Especially treble ADV and run in a very wide space

The ADV Alpha is a great headphone for adventure enthusiasts with a solid design in every detail. Moreover, the sound of ADV is very neutral, easy to hear with strong bass, neutral mid and true treble. However, I still recommend using ADV with modern pop music.
