WHIZZER TP1 DESIGN
Elegance and sophistication are the best adjectives to describe the design of the Whizzer TP1. Right from the charging box, Whizzer TP1 follows a circular design like a Mochi, looks quite cute as well as feels extremely friendly to hold.
The charging case is finished primarily from dark gray plastic with a textured surface that prevents fingerprints. Small details such as the logo, the hinge and charging pin border are made from metal and are plated with shiny gold, creating an accent for the overall as well as increasing the elegance and class for the product.
On the charger, we only have one status indicator on the back of the charger instead of many lights to indicate the battery level as usual. Sadly, this design will not allow us to check the battery status of the charging box.
The mechanism for opening and closing the charging box on the Whizzer TP1 is made identical to the Apple Airpods, also opens in the form of opening clamshell and holding magnets. However, after opening the lid, the hinge does not have a position locking mechanism, so the lid will be closed if the opening is too fast.
As I said from the beginning, the Whizzer TP1 will be a perfect replacement for Apple Airpods because it also has a grip-like design that sticks out when worn. However, the Whizzer TP1 is a headset that is in the form of earplugs rather than installed on the ear like Airpods.
The body of the headset is synchronized with the box, also made from plastic and has gold-plated metal details. On the outside of the headset is the Whizzer logo W with a shiny round metal rim surrounding the elegance and class of the headset.

EXPERIENCE AND SOUND
The wearing experience of Whizzer TP1 is quite comfortable and comfortable. The long handle gives a very similar wearing experience to Apple Airpods. Headphones after choosing the right size eartips will fit neatly and firmly in the ear without the need of earhook support.
The charging box has a magnet that attaches both the ear and the lid. However, due to the design of the lid when opening, there is not too much space to manipulate the ear, so I have to stick to the eartips before I can pull it out of the box. Although this method may not sound right, it is the most effective way to operate on Whizzer TP1.
In terms of stability when connected, the Whizzer TP1 does very well, almost no sound interruption during my experience of about 2 hours continuously. The latency of this headset is still but not too significant. When watching videos on youtube or watching movies online, it is difficult to recognize the status slower than the picture. Only when you play heavy games such as PUBG, will the latency become clearer. Therefore, if you use Whizzer TP1 to play games, maybe you should just avoid playing the shooter game types, need immediate response time.
I will not complain about the upper part of this headset, except the sound quality is not as what I expected. Maybe the previous Whizzer products have too good sound quality compared to the price range, so I had to rely too much on the sound quality of this headset.
The overall sound quality of Whizzer TP1 is easy to listen, neutral, not stressed. However, it lacks too much detail and technology to meet its expectations.
Bass: Enough, not weak, but definitely not for the basshead. Bass beat focused on mid-bass, sub-bass lack of force making the overall bass lack of depth. Bass beat is not compact and very intense. Compared to Apple Airpods, maybe it’s just a little more in volume and the bass is almost the same.
Mid tones: Thick, slightly backward and somewhat opaque. That’s because the high-mid section and the heavy roll-off treble significantly reduces the detail brought on this headset. This naturally leads to the lack of vitality in the instrument.
Treble: Roll-off, very little volume and cannot go up. New listeners may be interested in this when there is not a single song that you hear so harsh on this headset. But for me, making treble strip like this makes the music lose its inherent musical.
In summary, for those who are not too fastidious about sound, want a headset with good sound quality to chill after stressful working hours, Whizzer TP1 is not a bad choice in the price range.
