WHIZZER TP1s DESIGN AND FINISHING

At first glance, it seems that the Whizzer TP1s have a similar design to TP1, but I do not doubt that the Whizzer TP1s still retains 100% of the old design of TP1.

Whizzer seems to admire and imitate Apple, adding an S after its new products’ name, keeping the design, and upgrading the configuration. Instead of going into the design of TP1s, I will try to differentiate its appearance and statistics on this new version.

Firstly, the biggest difference that comes with TP1s is the color. In addition to the gray color like TP1, three new colors are added: Blue, Black, Red, and limited edition White.

Do you remember the Whizzer E3 – The singing pebble on the box’s surface and the headset, which is covered with unique sandpaper?

We will see this design again on the special white edition Whizzer TP1s. That is also the version I feel most interested in because it feels comfortable when holding and unique.

Secondly, the metal details on the end of the earpiece are better finished than the previous version; the part adjacent to the plastic is also tighter. On the white version, this metal area still retains the metal instead of being glossy like TP1.

CONFIGURATION AND TECHNOLOGY

Everyone, including me, expects the dramatic changes in the configuration and technology inside Whizzer TP1s. But no, there will be no major changes in technology, battery life, or drivers on Whizzer TP1s. According to the company, there is a slight upgrade in the Bluetooth chip to help increase stability and reduce headphones. The most significant change is only in the sound quality, which I will get to later. And now we will take a look at some of the features that Whizzer TP1S and TP1 are equipped with:

– The latest Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable connection

– The ability to automatically connect, automatically turn off the power like Apple Airpods

– Touch control

– Waterproof, anti-sweat standard IPX5

– 10mm dynamic driver, TEP membrane, strong magnetic force 1 Tesla

– Integrated microphone digital noise filter for clearer calls

– Ability to call virtual assistant on Smartphone

– Good battery life, use 4-6 hours continuously for one charge and total time up to 36 hours

CONNECTION EXPERIENCE

The experience with iPhone 6S and Bphone 3 both give a positive experience and the stability of the Whizzer TP1s. There was no buzzing or signal stuttering during the 4-hour continuous test.

What makes me most satisfied with Whizzer TP1s is the latency of the sound. The lag when watching Youtube is only about 30-50ms, 3-5 times lower than other True Wireless headphones on the market. When you watch your favorite videos or play games, the characters’ sound or dialogue will sync almost 99% with the images on the screen. While it will still be inferior to wired headphones, this is the lowest latency True Wireless headset in this price range.

SOUND QUALITY

The last missing piece of Whizzer TP1 has now been found. I bet this is the most obvious improvement on Whizzer TP1s when compared to the old version.

Bass range: The bass on TP1 used to be moderate, slightly lacking in sub-bass, and not very neat. On TP1s, the bass has been enhanced in volume, with better vibration. The cleaner, rounded bass improved the speed. However, slow speed, uncontrolled bass, and slightly encroaching on the low-mid are inherent points on this range of TP1s.

Mid-range: Still slightly behind like the old version but more fulfill and clearer. The singer’s voice is warm and smooth, best expressed as a low male voice due to the low-mid section being pushed up. Whizzer TP1s perfectly eliminates sibilant notes thanks to its receding high-mid section.

The details are improved, but it’s hard to say that the Whizzer TP1s sound good. On the acoustic tracks, the guitar fades and blends into the background music. The more difficult the songs and the technical requirements are, the Whizzer TP1s become exhausted. However, it is not possible to ask for a cheap TrueWireless audiophile. This mid-range is still strong enough to play popular Pop, Ballad, R&B genres on the market.

Treble band: Improved compared to TP1. Treble gets higher with better details. The music now feels the tinkling, which is needed to make the music fresher.

Soundstage: Pretty wide compared to other True Wireless headphones at the same price, feeling airy and pleasant. There is nothing to complain about this part.
