As a follower, of course, the God Eater compared to Monster Hunter is inevitable. Creating a private path is not always easy, especially when the predecessor has done so well and created a large shadow. But luckily, the Bandai Namco game has found its place.

So what did God Eater do? That is not a terrible secret because if we go back in time to that time, it doesn’t take long to realize what Monster Hunter wants to convey. It can be encapsulated by “carrying the goods and then killing the monster.” Nobody cares about the plot or the little things on the sidelines, everything that a hunter at the time was interested in equipment and killed the devil.

And so it was the same thing that opened up a path for the God Eater, who was still painfully hunting monsters, with it a plot system that had a depth around the beast in the game.
So what do we have in the story of God Eater? It can be summarized as follows, the human “suffer” from the Aragami horde (the common name of the monsters in the game) leads to near genocide. Then must deal with the ancient Aragami named Nova revived and a sick person who wants to destroy all humanity and bring 1000 people to the moon. Ai Aragami is not done yet; a strange disease from the red rain almost swept away society again. And now feeling that the human race was still not “bad,” God Eater 3 brought you new desperation called “Ashlands.”

God Eater 3 takes you to 18 years after God Eater 2, Ashlands suddenly appears and devours everything. Ashlands are made up of a collection of very small life forms (called Ashblight), and in particular, they are invisible and are very destructive. Everything Ashlands passed through turned into ash, including Aragami or humans. Amid that storm, the stronghold of humankind – FENRIR was destroyed and dispersed into many small groups separated from each other. Survivors gathered together to live in areas called “Ports” and struggled to use little resources.

The story begins when our protagonist lives and grows up in a Port called Pennywort. However, it is a real prison and often forces children to become experiments AGE (Adaptive God Eaters). But it is not worth mentioning if a “pretty” Ashlands suddenly collapses and destroys Pennywort. The protagonist and his friends are saved by Chrysanthemum – a small Port owned by Hilda Henriquez. At Chrysanthemum, the protagonist met Phym – a Humanoid Aragami (Aragami evolved in human form). And after unknowingly recognizing Phym’s ability to disarm Ashblight, the protagonist’s journey to save humankind began.

The outline of God Eater 3’s story is like that. The game has not conveyed a post-apocalyptic world, where fearful people clump together to live (people seem to adapt quite well and live comfortably on the other side). Still, the game has done very well exuding family affection, the fact that people in Port Chrysanthemum care about each other and dare to do everything for their home.

And of course, having mentioned the story, it is impossible not to say our Aragami – big, dirty, and extremely cool monsters. And not out of tradition – God Eater 3’s Aragami design is still very satisfying. The Ra, Nuada, Vajra, Ash Storm Anubis will not disappoint you with your appearance.
Each monster will have the ultimate skills “one way to die” from God Eater 2 will make you quickly handle if you do not want to die too easily.

Accompanied by the huge amount of Aragami, the number of weapons included is equally huge, with three main types of weapons: close-range weapons, guns, and shields with flexible rotation between firearms. Close-range weapons are divided into different types such as Short Blade, Long Blade, Charge Spear with two newly added weapons, Heavy Moon and Biting Edge, with various combinations.
