For users who need to take notes, draw or move, pen and tablet are ideal couple. Recently, Adonit, a maker of pen styling accessories, has teamed up with Evernote to launch its Jot Script lineup of new enhancements over its lineup last year.
In terms of design, Jot Script is just a little more than a regular ball pen. Although equipped with a AAA battery but on the contrary, the weight of the pen is quite light when held in the hand. Jot’s largest and easy-to-read upgrade is compared to the previous Adonit line at the head of the pen. Instead of using a large plate and dropping easily during use, Jot Script is a Pixelpoint technology that reduces the tip of the pen to 1.9 mm in diameter.
To connect to the iPad, Jot Script uses the Bluetooth 4.0 LE power-saving protocol. However, the disadvantage of this pen is always to connect to use. More specifically, Jot Script will become a true “brick” when the battery is out or not connected to the iPad.
Although developed for the Penultimate app on the iPad, Jot Script is also compatible with other drawing applications on this tablet. However, due to the inability to feel pressure, Jot Script is better suited for notes. In addition to Penultimate, users can also use another pretty good note-taking application, GoodNote 4.
