Design and Build Quality

The LG GT505 was designed with a focus on practicality and style. It combined a sleek aesthetic with functional elements to create a device that was both visually appealing and user-friendly.

Dimensions and Weight: The LG GT505 measured 105.8 x 54 x 12.4 mm and weighed approximately 115 grams. This compact and lightweight design made it easy to handle and carry. The device was designed to fit comfortably in the hand, with smooth edges and a manageable size that allowed for one-handed operation.

Material and Finish: The GT505 featured a plastic construction with a polished finish on the front. The back panel was made of matte plastic, providing a non-slip grip. The overall build quality was solid, and the materials used contributed to the phone’s durability. The polished front added a touch of elegance, while the matte back ensured that the device was comfortable to hold.

Keyboard and Controls: The GT505 was equipped with a touch-sensitive screen and minimal physical buttons. The device featured a standard array of navigation controls, including a home button, call and end buttons, and a dedicated button for accessing multimedia functions. The touch screen interface was designed to be intuitive and responsive, providing a seamless navigation experience.

The impressive features of this phone are the large touch screen, simultaneous 2G and 3G network support, integrated GPS and high-speed web surfing with WiFi connectivity.

The GT505 spends almost all of its facelift on a 3″ touchscreen, plastic case with a glossy metallic bezel, and 2G and 3G networks, plus built-in GPS (with A- GPS), WiFi support, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPRS.

The back of the camera layout is 5 megapixel, LED flash light. The GT505 supports VGA movie recording, preloaded WisePot maps application from LG (not yet supported in Vietnam) and Google Maps via GPS.

The main interface of the GT505 is simple, displaying icons of commonly used applications such as weather information, global positioning, entertainment applications, digital content libraries, mailbox status bars and messages…

Right side of the multi-function USB port and headphone charger and headset, volume down button, screen lock button and quick camera button (order from right to left).

MicroSD card slot in the left stem, the machine has 100MB of internal memory.

Intuitive, easy-to-use interface and menus. The handset offers search utilities, navigation, recording, notes, notes and alarm clocks.

The GT505 supports standard POP3 / IMAP4 email as well as popular email accounts such as Yahoo, Gmail and HotMail.

The GT505’s master interface still retains the usual applications / features that are almost the hallmark of the LG phone and is complemented by three additional pages that display important user-defined contacts. From the icon corresponds to a contact directory, you can quickly make regular or video calls – 2G networks, 3G networks – as well as SMS.

The strength of the GT505 is that there is enough connectivity needed for a mobile user, such as Bluetooth 2.0 (with A2DP), USB, and GPRS, but most notably the 802.11b / g WiFi and integrated GPS (A-GPS) . Test Lab found that the GT505 does not support email as strong as the GW525, which specifically lacks the Mail for Exchange feature. As with the integrated browser, GTail accounts are configured with the GT505 Test Lab running smoothly, fast download speeds and full, detailed display whether via GPRS or GPRS connection. WIFI. However, the point is not really satisfied in the trial as the browser as well as e-mail features are not flexible in choosing which access point is GPRS or WiFi. The GT505 assigns a “hard” access point as indicated by the user instead of giving you the option of choosing one of the many available access points as on many other mobile phones. With the GT505, Test Lab has successfully connected to 3G; Surfing the web, synchronizing emails for speed is quite impressive, the Nokia 6720’s picture-perfect voice tester works well.

In addition, the camera also allows self-timer and continuous shooting 3/6/9 photos. Clear test shots and fresh colors. Good night photos, few seeds. Photos can be edited at the basic level, then shared with other users via email, Bluetooth or MMS as well as fast print. The Muvee Studio gadget for montage from the gallery continues to be available on the GT505. The quick-focus button is conveniently located on the right, microSD card slot for easy operation (up to 8GB internal memory of 100MB).

It also allows viewing of text files, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs and even Flash content. According to the maker, the GT505 has a standby time of up to 420 hours (3G) and a 7-hour talk time.

In general, the GT505 deserves to be of interest and choice, but it will be more complete if it supports a 3.5mm headphone jack and is versatile in choosing a wireless access point.
