The price of the RTX 2080 offered by Nvidia is $ 799, which is quite a lot higher than the GTX 1080 at the launch of $ 549. However, this is the price of the Founders version (the premium version of Nvidia’s GPU). You will find other versions that start at a lower price point at around $ 699.

Efficiency
The Nvidia RTX 2080 is certainly pretty much more expensive than its predecessor, but the results can offset that price increase. The new GPU is having a significantly better performance than the GTX 1080 with significantly higher benchmarks even on par with the GTX 1080 Ti and Titan Xp.
