Sennheiser IE 300 belongs to its brand new in-ear product line. The name will make many people think of the IE 100/400/500 Pro series, but the IE 300 is aimed at audiophile users with a completely new driver and color tone with high detail and easier to hear color tones.

Inside IE 300 is a completely new dynamic driver, 7mm Extra Wide Band (XWB), an upgraded driver compared to the previous IE 800S driver version. While IE 800 S is up to 1000 USD, 300 USD of IE 300 is completely reasonable.

The Sennheiser IE 300’s resonator design also received special attention with the Helmholtz Resonator chamber for detailed and clear highs. Newly designed membrane foil to reduce distortion and reverberation.

Currently, listening to vocal music is quite good. Still, when it comes to music that requires sophistication, conciseness, and discipline, like Koln Concert (Keith Jarrett) or Out To Lunch (Eric Dolphy), Firebird Suite (Eiji Oue) is not impressive because I haven’t achieved the openness that I want. Sennheiser IE 300’s bass is very suitable for lyrical music because the upper bass is not too tight and strong, the sub-bass is smooth and thick, creating a pleasant feeling when listening to music.
