Usually, water pressure jets are something we don’t even know we need until we experience it with our own hands. We are used to washing cars in the shops, the cost per wash can be cheap for many people but the problem is that the initiative of time is not in our hands. The whole week going to work, going to school, and at the end of the week “queuing” will know when it’s my turn, not to mention the unexpected job? Besides, when “cleaning” the house, if you only use your hands to dislodge stains, it will take a lot of time and effort.

This time, BiaReview had the opportunity to experience the WestForce 2800 PSI water pressure sprayer. WestForce is a relatively new brand, with a new product range consisting of only 3 pressure models 2600, 2800, and 3000 PSI respectively, but with a price of 130 USD for the 2800 PSI model, this promises to be name competitiveness with other competitors in the market.

Open the box and design

Designed like a travel suitcase with a 1600W engine, it can be said that the WestForce 2800 PSI possesses a design commensurate with the performance, 26.8 x 23.1 x 67.2 cm (length x width x high) and weight 6.5 kg. In comparison, this model of WestForce water pressure sprayer is pretty “equal” with Lavor Ninja-Plus 130.

The size is quite compact, the WestForce 2800 PSI is also equipped with two large size wheels and a portable part that can be extended for convenient movement every time in use. The part of the power cord that comes with the machine is up to 10 meters long, so you do not need to use an unsafe extension power outlet.

The WestForce 2800 PSI spray gun is large, but even with an extension hose, it is light enough for even women to use it easily. The gun is connected to the machine through a 6-meter high-pressure spray wire, which can be flexibly removable for storage when not in use. This injector is made of high-quality plastic, which can feel firm to hold but still flexible enough to reach difficult places. The trigger has a built-in safety lock.

Comes with the machine are the nozzles, numbered and color so that the user is not confused. For the 2800 PSI model, it is usually bundled with only three 0-degree nozzles (red) for small point-focused stains, 25 degrees (blue) multi-purpose, and 40 degrees (white) for a softer wash, with a foam nozzle (black) for wash water. However, WestForce sent me an extra 15 degree (orange) nozzle for large stains that the 25-degree nozzle doesn’t handle to experience.

WestForce 2800 PSI does not come with a water inlet hose, but only one adapter to filter dirt, grit in large size in water. Users should pay attention to buy hard plastic water pipes to avoid clogging of the pipes, causing water clogging. You can either connect directly to the hose or use a container/basin. Above the two water in / out ports is a rotary switch.

The rear of the machine is a removable wash box, instead of mounted on a gun like some other pressure sprayers on the market. This box size is relatively small, more specific I will continue below the article.

The entire shell is made of flame-retardant ABS plastic and is impact resistant. Besides, the WestForce 2800 PSI also meets the IPX5 water resistance standard, if accidentally spraying water into the machine during the washing process will not have any problems, but to ensure safety, the power cord and high-voltage nozzles are also very For a long time, please avoid leaving the device near water when we use it.

Practical experience and use

Installation of the WestForce 2800 PSI is very simple, even for an  “inexperienced” person it only takes a few minutes, following the steps in the manual. One thing to note is that this water injection model is designed for the US and European markets, using 120V / 50Hz electricity.

Before turning on the machine, we need to always determine what the target we will use to choose the right nozzle. Usually, 15 and 25-degree nozzles will be what you want. It would be great if WestForce could do an all-in-one, rotating nozzle to switch spray modes, rather than splitting into multiple nozzles like this, relatively inconvenient.

Practical experience shows that the water jet of the WestForce 2800 PSI sprayed strongly, evenly. The spray pressure can be controlled by pressing the trigger, but doing so could cause the gun to jerk due to constant pressurization. Instead, the more optimal way would be to squeeze the trigger and control the pressure by moving the spray stand. The water pressure of the machine is 2800 PSI, equivalent to about 193 bar, we should keep the gun hose about 1-1.5m from the vehicle to avoid damage outside the car.

In terms of power consumption, the WestForce 2800 PSI is equipped with a 1600W motor, but most likely this is the maximum capacity (ideal), throughout the process of use, I see the power consumption fluctuates about 1100 – 1500W. After one car wash with water washing cycle to blow dry dust -> spray car wash water -> wash off foam, a total of nearly 20 minutes (including the time to change nozzle is negligible).

WestForce 2800 PSI save water? According to the manufacturer, this water pressure injection machine has a flow of 1.76 GPM (gallons per minute), equivalent to 3.78 liters per minute. It is still the process of washing the car above, we use a 50-liter plastic tank, after washing it, the barrel is gone.

The biggest problem, in my opinion, on the WestForce 2800 PSI is that the detergent box is too small and drains too quickly. Washing a motorbike we need two cans of a solution, if it is a car it will need more. This will interrupt work a bit, hopefully, WestForce will have plans to deal with products in the future.

In addition to car washing, we can also use products for other needs such as dust, moss in the yard, furniture. With the right nozzle, as long as the surface is hard, this machine won’t be a problem.

Summary

Overall, my experience with the WestForce 2800 PSI pressure injector can be summed up in two words “satisfied”. Car washing, or cleaning the house is no longer a tiring and boring job, a good premise for us to create habits. The downside of this pressure-jet model is that the wash tank is too small, and the WestForce is still a brand new one, so finding or repairing a problem can be a big deal. These are all within reach of WestForce, and time will give us the answer.
