Design
Film Scan & Save is a rectangular 155x90x90mm film scanner. It comes with a 2.4″ TFT LCD screen that is intuitive to help you view and edit images directly while scanning.
The device has 2 film trays, each of which can process 6 frames with negative film and 3 frames with positive film. Films that hold film are not certain that the film is not completely flat, affecting the film pretty much. With slides, users have to cut each film and then attach it to the tray.

Film Scan & Save with negative film Uxi 100 and Fuji Velvia positive film gives you a very fast scan, taking only 1 to 2 seconds for a picture, with 36 film reels you spend about 5 to 6 Minutes for installation and scanning. This is an unbelievable speed for moving from a film to a digital photo, but the quality of the image needed to be improved.
Although removing all the factors that affect the film, such as scratches or dust, Film Scan & Save has the wrong color compared to the original image, the brightness balance is not good for both negative film and slide. For images with contrasting light, darkness turns to black, bright highlights are too much to make the output file is too bright. The received image is not full color, not the image details.
Conclusion: Film Scan & Save is really handy and also very useful if you are not too care about image quality. However, for $ 130, consider that for a price you can find a much better scanner.
