Symbian OS can be loser compared to iOS and Android on the user experience, but Belle version is a jump. Belle brought the breakthrough for the home screen and menus. The interface on the Nokia 700 is pretty much exactly the same as the Nokia 701, so you can check the Nokia 701 video interface for a more intuitive view. That way you see what you need without too much extra thinking, I guess it just works like that.
The widget can be resized, you can also create shortcuts on your home screen. Below the main screen has three buttons and virtual. Menu key dial pad and screen settings. With this virtual keys, you probably will not need 3 physical buttons (2 and 1 call key menu key) on the front of the machine.
