The controller provides a headphone jack which allows you to use wired headphones for gaming. The device establishes a connection to your phone without using Bluetooth technology. The device establishes a connection through a Lightning connection which transmits power and data and eliminates the need for charging.
Before getting started, you need to download both the Backbone application and any service applications which you intend to use which include Xbox and PS Remote Play and Steam Link and other similar programs. The game begins after you connect your iPhone to the device. You must remove your iPhone case to use your phone. The Backbone One controller has an Xbox One controller button configuration with four face buttons and a D-pad and two shoulder buttons on each side and two analog sticks which are arranged in an Xbox controller style instead of the PlayStation controller’s side-by-side configuration.

First, after purchasing the device, users must pay for Backbone+ features which they may consider unfair because their purchase comes with a free one-year subscription to the service.
