Sound quality:

The overall sound quality of Cayin C6 is neutral; the chic, detail and theatrical space highlight the device. The AMP has good traction, equivalent to the Cayin C5, but the smoother C5 performs better than the C6. I have a test between two sets of combo: iPhone 5S + Cayin C6 + Sennheiser HD545 and iPhone 5S + Cayin C5 + Sennheiser HD545 together. One-track and the results show that the Combo C6 performs better in detail, space, and extra drag. The 24bit tracks on the iPhone 5S show the sound quality is quite impressive. Sound depth and thickness are much more than when only plugged headphones into the phone port on the machine.

I tested the comparison between Cayin C6 with the Nuforce icon ido. That is an AMP headphone with the same function as Cayin C6, and the results show that iCon sound on iDO for a warmer sound, while C6 is clearer and brighter.
