Based on the Black Series, the ECS A785GM-M V1.0 BMC is equipped with the new AMD 785G chipset, AM3 socket and supports 1333 MHz DDR3.
ECS A785GM-M V1.0 is designed to be Micro ATX (244×244), so it can be placed in compact case. Because of socket AM3 use, the A785GM-M V1.0 is only compatible with the new AMD Phenom II and Athlon II processors, which do not support socket AM2 + processors. In return, the A785GM-M V1.0 supports DDR3 1333MHz with higher clock speeds and is also more energy-efficient than DDR2.
The new AMD 785G chipset also gives BMC more powerful integrated graphics (ATI Radeon HD 4200), but users can still leverage this power when equipped with midrange graphics cards due to the ATI Hybrid CrossFireX graphics technology.
The A785GM-M V1.0 is equipped with a cooler than the two metal blocks placed on the two chipsets. There is also a large metal block on the left side of the socket to “cool” the power phase to provide electricity. It is more stable for the processor to operate as well as when overclocking. In addition, all of the capacitors on the BMC are solid capacitors that also contribute to power savings, increased lifespan and stability.
