But things get worse when you turn up the brightness to a high level or switch the screen to display HDR content.
Uneven page brightness becomes more pronounced, leading to unbalanced color quality in different areas of the screen becoming visible to the naked eye. You can even count 8 LEDs (4 above and 4 below) distributed on the screen when switching to dark scenes.
This is a slight minus point of Gigabyte G27QC if compared with the “elder” AORUS is “cared” more carefully with better brightness level.
However, most of the time, users will use the screen at normal settings, helping the eyes to reduce fatigue when working or playing games for a long time, and suitable for the context of today’s games.
