Design
The machine is set metal block, the edge around the diamond is cut for a feeling of strength and elegance.
The front of the machine is similar to the current Android tablet with front camera, sensors and Home button. However Huawei tried to make the screen border thinner, for the machine area up to 70.6%.
The back of the metal is painted for a more grip feel, in addition to the back camera, but no flash for night shots.
The right side is the volume down button and the source button is streamlined.
The bottom edge is a micro USB port, mic and speaker.
The top edge is a 3.5mm headphone jack and speakerphone. The speakers are arranged in two speakers on the bottom and the Harman Kardon sound quality will give you a better listening experience.
Configuration
The MediaPad M3 Lite 8 equipped with the Snapdragon 435 chip introduced last year has the same configuration as the Snapdragon 430. Snapdragon 435 is also a 64-bit chipset with eight cores, clocked at 1.4 Ghz. The Snapdragon 435 is the first chipset of the Snapdragon 400 series with an integrated LTE X8 modem, supporting LTE Cat.7 – up to 300Mbps downstream and 150Mbps upstream.
The M3 Lite 8 has 2 options of 3GB of RAM, 32GB and 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory. With the above configuration attached with Areno 505 GPU followed by Snapdragon 435 chip will handle the graphics work pretty well.
Other
The MediaPad M3 Lite 8 screen this year is 8 inches in size, 0.4 inches smaller than the MediaPad M3 8.4 last year. The resolution of the MediaPad M3 Lite also dropped to Full HD compared to 2K of MediaPad M3.
The battery life is reduced to 4800 mAh compared to 5100 mAh of MediaPad M3. The camera still retains its predecessor with 8MP front camera and rear camera for Full HD 30 frames per second.
