The ultra-compact LaCie Little Big Disk, with up to 1TB of storage and Thunderbolt ports, promises to bring you a high-speed external storage device that’s designed to fit Apple’s Macs. .
The LaCie Little Big Disk 1TB has a slim appearance: it’s about the same size as an ATM card, weighs around 650 grams, and comes in a classic gray aluminum case that matches Apple’s Macs. The only green button on the front is both the on / off button and the signal light.
The two sides of the device have quite a lot of radiator heat dissipation efficiency of more than 60% compared to conventional flat surface. The LaCie Little Big Disk trial version is available in 2 hard disk 500GB drive 2.5″, 7200 RPM, and is configured as RAID 0.

The LaCie Little Big Disk 1TB allows for connection to the Daisy Chain model (up to 6 compatible devices can be connected to the same Thunderbolt port on a Mac). It also allows the connection of LaCie’s Thunderbolt display to the Daisy Chain.

TestLab also tries to connect two LaCie Little Big Disk 1TB drives in a daisy chain. After configuring RAID 0 drives, the system recognizes these drives as a single external drive with 2TB capacity.
When measured in AJA software, read / write speeds are twice as high as when mounted, reaching 407.9 MB / s and 388.6 MB / s, respectively. This result is quite consistent with LaCie’s announced speed of 380MB / s.
