Product details
It looks like Logitech has considered the gaming mouse design of the G403 to be the standard, so the later G703 or G603 gaming products have the same appearance as the G403. The mouse was designed to fit right-handed people, so the right half of the mouse was lowered and tapered down to allow a more comfortable grip.
G703 (left) is placed next to G603 (right). The biggest difference in the design of the G603 over the G703 or G403 lies in the fact that the left mouse button must be attached to the mouse body rather than being separated.
The DPI adjustment button has an LED below to indicate which DPI markers are being used.
The bottom of the mouse has a switch to switch between the HI (maximum communication frequency 1000Hz) and the LO (125Hz maximum communication frequency). When we need to save battery we can leave the mouse in LO mode. There is also a button to switch between two modes: Lightspeed connection with USB adapter and Bluetooth connection.
Because the mouse body shell is liftable to fit the battery, the G603 is not equipped with Logitech logo LEDs as the company’s other high-end gaming mice. This case is attached to the mouse by magnets so it is easy to remove; However, it is still strong enough to not cause a wobbly feeling to the user.
Mouse use the Omron Switch with a life of 20 million hits.
The G603 does not use the Pixar optical sensor as its predecessor, but uses a Logitech-branded sensor called the HERO. This sensor in the words of the company consumes very little energy, thus helping to maximize the battery life of the mouse. Besides, the accuracy of this sensor is not inferior to the advanced sensors used in expensive gaming mouse products.
Logitech gaming mice use custom software, Logitech Gaming Software, not Logitech Options, as products for the office. Here, you can arbitrarily set functions for the mouse button; as well as changing the sensitivity and frequency of communication as desired.

Experience, evaluation
For someone unfamiliar with heavy mice like me, the 136g weight of the G603 is a major drawback. Although this weight makes the movement of the FPS game more stable; But long-term use of mice is more likely to lead to fatigue. And personally I had to give up after a Dota game because I could not get used to the weight of this mouse. Then I tried to fix it by just installing a battery for the mouse to watch. However, this makes the center of the mouse deviation, making the mouse feel that something is not right. In general, I personally like wireless mice using rechargeable batteries and customizing weight rather than AA batteries.
Advantage:
+ There are two different adjustment levels to save battery life.
+ Using Lightspeed technology, the input latency is the same as using wired devices.
+ HERO optical sensor with good performance and low energy consumption.
Disadvantages:
– Very heavy when fitting two batteries, not balanced when only one battery.
– Design is not much different from G403 or G703.
– Using the 20 million-click Switch Omron makes the switch faster than the current high-end gaming mice.
Summary
With Logitech’s $ 70 price tag, the G603 is probably one of the company’s most impressive wireless gaming mice at the moment. Although the G603 still has some drawbacks, but overall with this product, Logitech is getting very close to being able to produce the perfect wireless gaming gear.
