The Logitech K480 has a rather big design comparing to the keyboard for tablets, but it has the ability to simultaneously connect many useful devices.
SVHouse has officially released the brand new K480 keyboard brand Logitech. Aside from the usual wireless connection via Bluetooth, the K480 also features the ability to “pair” with three devices at the same time.
The size of the K480 is quite large compared to the popular wireless keyboards like the Apple Wireless Keyboard. For the sake of imagination, the K480 is bigger than an iPad Air, but smaller than a MacBook Pro. With this design, the K480 should be used on the desk or in bed entertainment, watching movies on the sofa instead of for mobile purposes.
The K480 uses the same material as plastic resin, which provides better scratch resistance than glossy surfaces like those of other devices. At the top of the keyboard, the manufacturer has a slot for users to put their tablet or smartphone on it and manipulate it. The left side of the device is the rotary key that switches between three devices to use, while the “pairing” can be accomplished with two keys on the right side of the keyboard. The Logitech K480 supports a variety of device platforms from iOS, OS X to Windows, Android and ChromeOS.
The K480 keyboard uses two AAA batteries and the manufacturer says it can last up to 2 years to replace the battery, equivalent to about 4 million keystrokes. The typing feel on this keyboard is quite comfortable, though still not comparable with the dedicated and complex mechanical keyboards.
