As the 10th anniversary edition of Surface 2-in-1 computers, Microsoft has introduced the latest generation Surface Pro 9. The device is created by merging the Surface Pro X and Surface Pro lines into one with two different processor options from ARM or Intel.

Right from the box, Microsoft still pursues the minimalist style when printing the Surface Pro 9 being erected similar to its predecessor. At a glance, the design of the Surface Pro 9 has remained largely unchanged and still has the characteristics of the hybrid computer line. The reason Microsoft gives users a choice of chip configuration is that it targets two different working needs. Accordingly, the Intel chip configuration is suitable for large workloads, such as office work, photo, and video editing. While with SQ3, Surface Pro 9 offers mobile 5G connectivity and better battery life.

According to Microsoft, Surface Pro 9 can give up to 15.5 hours of use. But experience shows that this number only stops at 10 hours of onscreen in WiFi connection conditions and average brightness. Besides, the temperature of the machine emitted during use is not too hot and uncomfortable.

Surface Pro 9 is equipped with a webcam with Full HD resolution and a 10 MP rear camera. In terms of quality, the camera on the front gives quite good quality to join online meetings with a somewhat warmer and more vivid skin tone. As for the rear camera, the image quality still meets the needs, but there is good noise and drift compared to the front camera. At the Surface Pro 9 announcement event, Microsoft also said that it used intelligent algorithms to process skin color via webcam.
