Following the success of Pebble Classic, Pebble 2 debuted with a more beautiful and dynamic design. New features include voice recognition microphones, heart rate monitors, and health measurement applications.
I just received it today from Kickstarter sent back. The initial impression was good on Pebble 2’s design as well as packaging. The whole package included a handset, strap, charger, and manual.
Use rubber straps that are very soft and do not stick to fingerprints. There are a total of 12 steps for the size of the hand. For an overview, I find the size 42 is the best compared to the watch.
On-screen, Pebble still uses a 1.26″ rectangular e-Paper screen with a resolution of 144 x 168 monochrome. The display mode is continuous and looks good in the daytime, even in the sun. However, with the e-Paper screen, you can not demand sharpness or compare it with other smatch watches.
The home button is placed next to the left side of the machine, the design is the same color as the body, and the position is quite handy when handling.
The two navigation keys and buttons are located on the right side of the camera body, also designed in the same color and handy. However, I found the keys slightly heavy.
It can withstand water well at a depth of 30m, which means you can use it comfortably in everyday activities.
Design overview, Pebble 2 is quite impressive. Lightweight body, simple design, soft rubber straps should be very comfortable when used regularly. The display is good, and the strap is removable, so you can change the straps if you want.
The connection keeps the phone and Pebble two quite simple. The highlight here is that it can load the entire application of the machine and display the message if the machine has enabled notifications for that application. That means that you do not need the display notification option for each application; instead, it loads the entire message. If you do not want to show notifications to any application, you turn it off. It is complete.
Battery capacity, according to the manufacturer’s announcement, can last up to 7 days. It supports both iOS and Android 4.3 and above.
