Packaging and accessories
QoA always takes great care of the packaging of its products and Vesper 2 is no exception. The headset and accessories are packaged in a blue cardboard box. The painting covered on the front of the cardboard box will surely make many people think of the aurora phenomenon in the night sky. The name of the headset along with the driver configuration will be clearly printed in the center of the front. Meanwhile, on the back there will be more detailed information about QoA Vesper 2.
The accessory set that comes with QoA Vesper 2 will include:
1 cable
3 pairs of wide tube silicone eartips size S/M/L
3 pairs of narrow tube silicone eartips size S/M/L

1 card with full technical specifications of the headset printed
Design and wearing experience
If Vesper is beautiful, QoA Vesper 2 is even more beautiful. Covering the entire housing and faceplate of the headset is an extremely beautiful sapphire blue coat. Users will have one more color option: orange-yellow.
The entire housing of Vesper 2 will be made from Crystal Epoxy plastic and undergo a modern 3D printing process. The faceplate alone will be decorated with colorful patterns. And embossed on these lines is the stylized words “Vesper” in copper gold color. Rounding the lines and edges on the housing not only makes the headset more beautiful but also increases the fit and comfort when wearing Vesper 2 on the ear.
The cable that comes with QoA Vesper 2 will be braided from 8 wire cores. Inside each wire core there will be 6 conductors made from 5N silver-plated copper. Using the Litz twisted braid design will help reduce sound interference. The cable uses a gold-plated 3.5mm jack, 0.78mm 2-pin connector (on the connector will be labeled L/R so users can easily distinguish left/right ears).
The 2 types of eartips that come with the headset will have a greater or lesser impact on the sound output. White tips are wide tube tips that will emphasize the vocals, increase treble and reduce bass. Meanwhile, the yellow-gray tips will be narrow tube tips for more balanced sound quality, tending to increase bass and slightly reduce treble.

Driver configuration and sound quality
Each housing side of the QoA Vesper 2 will be equipped with a hybrid driver cluster that is a combination of a 10mm dynamic driver with a PET membrane and a BA Knowles 32873 driver. While the dynamic driver is in charge of reproducing the mid and bass ranges, the BA driver will responsible for handling the treble strip.
A 2-way crossover will be arranged in the sound cavity to create uniformity for the driver system. In addition, QoA also designed 2 sound paths for Vesper 2 to increase the accuracy of the audio frequency division process. Regarding technical specifications, Vesper 2 operates at an impedance of 23Ohm with a sensitivity of 114dB and a frequency response range of 20Hz – 20kHz.
The sound quality that Vesper 2 possesses will be tuned in the direction of U-Shape, emphasizing the bass and having a warm bias. The bass range on Vesper 2 sounds very punchy, has a relatively fast response speed, a nice enough texture, and the subbass is natural and well controlled. However, the midbass part is not well controlled, so there is a situation of band encroachment.
The midbass slightly encroaching on the low mids makes the Vesper 2’s mid range sound quite warm. However, the position of the mid range is not too far back. The male vocal part and some instrument sounds such as piano or bass guitar will benefit from the band encroachment. Male vocals sound very lively, full, and have good depth. Female vocals are close and sexy, but the detail is not really as sharp as the EA500.
The treble range on Vesper 2 is tuned quite safely so it does not create annoying sib sounds. The level of detail will stop at a sufficient level, the microscopic details are removed relatively clearly. If you don’t like too bright treble sounds, Vesper 2 will be a good choice for you. But if you like detailed treble strips, Vesper 2 is not really an optimal choice at this price range.
Although the soundstage is more about width than depth and height, overall, Vesper 2 has a soundstage that is not too wide. This will inevitably create a sound stage that is closer to the listener’s ears. The sound imaging is quite accurate, accompanied by the ability to position the instrument relatively accurately. However, with music containing many different types of instruments, the accuracy of sound imaging and positioning will decrease.
Compare
Vs QoA Gimlet
Both the Vesper 2 and Gimlet are beautiful headphones. But the Gimlet’s housing appears to be more durable because it is made from metal instead of Crystal Epoxy plastic like Vesper 2. The fit level of the two headphones is the same, but wearing Vesper 2 for a long time will feel uncomfortable a bit more comfortable than Gimlet. Vesper 2’s cable is more sturdy and sturdy, but Gimlet’s cable is softer.
Regarding sound quality, Gimlet has a heavier V-Shape sound quality. This means that the bass and treble ranges are emphasized more by Gimlet, however, the mid range will be pulled back more. Although the bass range on the Vesper 2 has a faster response speed, the control ability is not as good as the Gimlet, so the band encroachment phenomenon appears.
The mid range on Vesper 2 has better linearity, the instrument tends to move forward more but has less energy. Gimlet’s vocal performance is better and more emotional. Although Gimlet has a more open treble range, it has better detail and this makes the Gimlet’s soundstage more open. But when considering the accuracy of the sound image, Vesper 2 is better.
Vs Kinera Celest Pandamon
In terms of aesthetics, Vesper 2 has a more professional and beautiful design. Meanwhile, Pandamon has a slightly “childish” appearance. The cable on the Pandamon has better softness, but when it comes to sturdiness and durability, the cable on the Vesper 2 is better. One point that users should pay attention to is that Pandamon owns a housing with an open design. Vesper 2’s housing is designed as a closed design and each side of the housing has only 1 vent to regulate pressure.
Going deeper into the sound quality, Pandamon has less bass, the subbass is better controlled, the speed in the bass range is faster and the bass has a more beautiful texture. Although the bass range on Vesper 2 is not as technically good as Pandamon, it has more bass, so it possesses many strengths in performing vibrant music.
Because it doesn’t have the same interference as Vesper 2, Pandamon has a much better musical performance. Both have great vocal performances, Vesper 2 has vocals that sound more intimate while Pandamon has vocals that sound more open and engaging.
Both have a treble range that is not too harsh, but Pandamon has a treble that sounds more airy, more detailed and handles extension better. The technical part on both headphones is equivalent.
Overall, with some slight changes in design and sound output, QoA Vesper 2 promises to be one of the most worth buying headphones in the entry segment.
