Simple design, parameter display

Orbit’s processing center is a plastic control unit about 5cm in size. A button controls functions, vibration mode, and a light sensor for tracking the user’s sleep. In addition, the unit also integrates alarm and notification on the smartphone. Unlike Fitbit One and Force, however, Orbit does not own the ability to count on footsteps.

Specifically, Orbit is the Runtastic Me – the popular motion tracking app on iOS and Android. This device works with any Android device running on Android 4.3 or Apple iPhone 4s via Bluetooth connection.

After connecting to a smartphone, Runtastic Me synthesizes the movements, burns calories, tracks sleep details, then encodes the data and builds a visual graph for the user easily. All Orbit data is synchronized and reset to 0 at 12. In addition, you can also set alarms for Orbit (vibration alert) as well as a notification (call), SMS, Facebook.

Finally, special features on Orbit that users difficult to find on other cheap smartphones are water-resistance of up to 100 meters (300 feet). Therefore, you can completely use it while swimming, diving, bathing, or cleaning when dirty. Unfortunately, Runtastic has not designed a swimmer tracking application yet, as it counts the number of rings, speeds, and distances to turn Orbit into the most versatile training tracker on the market.

Orbit will be the choice for those who want to “try-hard,” plan to monitor health and exercise seriously.
