amazon SSD Patriot Blast reviews
Simple design, no accessories included
The first impression when opening Patriot Blast’s box was pure simplicity: a product info sheet and SSD hard drive. Unlike other competing manufacturers, Patriot does not offer you a SATA cable or a 3.5 “frame. Perhaps this is aimed at lowering prices to the lowest level possible for Patriot customers.
SSD Patriot Blast also has a simple design, surface is covered with black paint to feel secure when holding. On the front, we have basic parameters such as 120GB capacity, 2.5″ size and standard SATA 3 connection at 6Gbps. On the back we have more detailed information such as hard drive code, place of manufacture (Taiwan) as well as other certifications.
In terms of looks, Patriot Blast offers a fairly simple SSD, so you’ll need to buy a 3.5” hard drive or cable for your PC.
Powerful performance
Usually with SSDs, the speed is not as high as the read speed. And the smaller the difference, the higher the price. In tests on the Patriot Blast, it is surprising to note that although this is a cheap hard drive, but the read and write speed is quite high and the difference is not too much. Details of the various tests are available below:

By testing with a PC-based tool, we see the highest Patriot Blast reads at 400-500MB / s and a write speed of 300-350MB / s. The difference is about 20%, but this is one of the few high-speed SSDs we’ve tested.
Next, try manually copying the files between the two SSDs in their free state for the most accurate results. The highest rate is around 390Mb / s and slows down to 90Mb / s
