Test results
The HDD uses a rotating disk for storage, so as much storage as the read / write speed is slower as the free space and data in the drive are no longer continuous. In this section I will test the WD Black WD4003FZEX 4 TB at four milestones:
– completely empty, capacity used 0%.
– Storage capacity is 53%.
– Storage capacity is 79%.
– Storage capacity is 95%.
The first is the result when the drive is completely empty. The read-write speed reached 170-165 MB / s, close to the specifications of the manufacturer. In addition, 4K read / write speeds are 0.8-1.67 MB / s – much higher than other HDDs. Need to know 4K read / write speed is a very important parameter for the hard drive. It evaluates the speed of the drive when working with fragmented data (most of the data that the operating system accesses is fragmented).
