You are using a timekeeping machine, but are making the following errors: The timekeeping machine has the wrong time, does not recognize fingerprints, or the card that the employee swipes… or the error cannot be timed, or timekeeping is possible but not saved receive employee workdays. There are many, many other errors, today let’s get to each error and how to fix it.

  1. Timekeeping does not show check-in and check-out times

Go to the software – Connect to timekeeper – Download attendance data – Enter the date to download data to your computer

After downloading to the computer – Go to the report section – Calculate the work and print the report

Select from date to date to calculate work – Click calculate work – Export Grid

  1. Timekeeper not connected

Check the device’s IP address. The device and computer must have the same IP address class and be declared on the software.

For example, if the IP address of the computer connecting to the software is 192.168.1.88, set the timekeeper’s IP address to 192.168.1.201 (this IP address is not used by anyone).

Open the run command window (shortcut: window logo + R), and type in the command line ping 192.168.1.201 (device IP address). A good connection will not display the text “reply from 192.168.1.201……….

If the line “Request time out” appears, it means the connection between the computer and the device is interrupted. Check the network cabling from the PC to the device and switch (if any).

  1. Software cannot be installed on the computer

Check the CD to see if it has been read or the timekeeping software

In the case of Win 7 before installation:

Go to Open Network and sharing center (Or click on the flag icon at the bottom right corner of the screen)

Select Action Center – Change user account control settings -> then drag the slider to the lowest position -> OK.

  1. After installation, a “Data connection error” appears.

My computer – Local disk C – Program file – Osin/wise eye – Data – Osindata.dll or Wise eyedata.dll

  1. When taking time, the data shows the number “0”

Go to timekeeper menu – Connect to timekeeper – Download timekeeping data – Enter the date you need to watch – Download to computer

Go to the report – Choose to calculate the work and print the report – Choose from date to the date to calculate – Print the work calculation – Export Grid

  1. Unable to download timekeeping data, half loaded then hangs

Uninstall the timekeeping software and reinstall it. Download the timekeeper Data

  1. The employee clocks time normally, but when downloaded to the computer, it is not displayed

Because the employee did not place the fingerprint correctly

Or go to the timekeeper to check if that employee has graded it yet

Or turn off the timekeeper and reboot

Or reinstall the software

  1. TIMEKEEPER marked the wrong time compared to normal

Go to TIMEKEEPER to reset the date and time. Can synchronize time on TIMEKEEPER and computer

Open TIMEKEEPER software – Go to TIMEKEEPER menu – TIMEKEEPER connection – TIMEKEEPER information – Time synchronization

9. No one counted the time but TIMEKEEPER also said “Please try again”

TIMEKEEPER needs to be cleaned, in a place protected from wind, free of high temperatures, and free of dust

  1. TIMEKEEPER downloaded the data incorrectly, no one’s fingerprints were taken, but when uploaded to the computer, some employees were still present.

Because the TIMEKEEPER declaration is incorrect

TIMEKEEPER declaration must fully declare the hostname, connection type, IP address, and especially the screen type.

If the TIMEKEEPER is a black-and-white screen, the LCD screen type must be selected

If TIMEKEEPER is a color screen, select the TFT screen type

Note: If you declare this part incorrectly, you will encounter the above phenomenon. We need to go to the TIMEKEEPER declaration section to check and declare again

  1. Timekeeping records are messy, with no date. For example: The time clock and the next morning jump to the previous afternoon and the following days are pushed up.

This problem is not due to the wrong TIMEKEEPER but the scorer’s lack of it

For example: If you work a certain shift, you must grade twice during that shift. This means that when you come in, you will be graded once and when you return, you will be graded once, which is enough. If you go home that afternoon and forget to clock in, TIMEKEEPER will automatically take the next time clock to fill in the gap. Specifically, TIMEKEEPER will take the next day’s timekeeping to make up for the lack of the previous afternoon. And at the same time, take Data the next time to make up for what was just taken away.

=> This leads to the Data being posted and causing the Data to jump

  1. What should you do before reinstalling the TIMEKEEPER software on your computer?

Download the current time attendance data calculator

Save the current Data to a drive other than drive C where Windows is installed

After installing the computer, the timekeeping software imports data from the data storage file

  1. When connecting to TIMEKEEPER, the message “The machine is being used with incorrect copyright or has not been registered”+ Because the TIMEKEEPER registration number does not match the TIMEKEEPER serial number.

TIMEKEEPER has not been registered, we need to re-register.

  1. The timekeeper installed fingerprints for management but the employee is no longer working and wants to go to TIMEKEEPER to make edits but TIMEKEEPER requires the person’s fingerprints.

Delete that manager’s fingerprint by:

Go to TIMEKEEPER menu – TIMEKEEPER connection – TIMEKEEPER information – Update – Delete management staff

After deleting, we disconnect and edit normally
