Overview of Dell EMC PowerEdge T140 hardware

The Dell EMC PowerEdge T140 is a small, relatively small tower-shaped server that measures 360mm x 175mm x 454mm. The front I / O does not include HDD Hot Plug tray. Instead, it only has a USB connection, a service port and a thin optical drive bay.

Modern server management solutions such as iDRAC are basically embedded IoT systems dedicated to managing larger systems. As such, iDRAC has several configuration settings for the service module so you can set up the appropriate network as an example.

In terms of monitoring, iDRAC has a basic control panel that provides statistics. This can be used to monitor cleaning machines.

Although individual metrics are interesting, but their significance is greater, this monitoring can provide greater monitoring and management solutions. Dell EMC has its own tools and also works in the industry so if you use 3rd party tools, there is a high possibility that iDRAC is supported.
