Design
The DN2002 is a specially designed headset designed by Dunu Hybrid headphones. The housing is quite large, with a bulge to attach the head to the wire and a long nozzle to help keep the ears but wear quite comfortable. Since the DN-2002 dunu is associated with Spinfit, so when you buy it, the ear tip on the headset is Spinfit CP-100 size L, And in the box also comes with three sizes L, S, XS.
Housing DN2002 is handled quite well, with the body made of high quality steel to reduce the sound pressure, vibration during use. The wire is put into the housing, with input is MMCX head size is quite large. Especially as this input does not rotate like the Shure headphones, avoid the situation that the headset moves unwanted.
The DN2002’s cable is medium, not too thin but can not be said to be as thick as the DN2000 or DN2000j. At the bottom of the belt there is a special booklet that only Dunu has, which helps users to compact the headphones when not in use. The Jack DN2002 is an L-shaped jack, much like the DN2000 and DN2000j. Inside the DN2002, there are four well-insulated strands to avoid crosstalk between the left and right channels, further “producing more powerful bass beats and broader sound.”

One of the special features of the DN2002 is that this is the first headphone that Dunu combines with both Spin fit and Comply – the two leading firm produce tips for the world – to suck the headphones. So in the box of DN2002 there are two best tips in the world. When choosing the correct tips, DN2002 will fit quite well in the ear, for good sound insulation
But because of the size of the housing and the nozzle tube is quite large so users will also have to adjust the head position on the ear to the most comfortable. The MMCX cord that Dunu uses is non-rotating, so it is not easy to slip on the ear. This is good because most of the DN2002 will fit with tips, the housing is outside the ears so the wire does not rotate is better!
Sound
Dunu’s final product is the Titan headset, with overall sound being thinner than the traditional Inear earphones. Also, I think some of Dunu’s traditional business lines have turned to sound like that. But when I wear DN2002 to see completely different! DN2002 has a warm, thick sound, is full range of features DN2000j. Although the Hyrid headphones, but the coherence (the harmony of the strips) of the headset is still very good, creating a sound quality is quite easy to hear and comfortable!
Bass
The part that Dunu constantly changes is the bass. From the very beginning, Dunu’s first flagship, DN19, had a bass that was dominant, with a very strong beat and heavy volume, making the overall sound difficult to hear. The DN1000, DN2000j, and now DN2002 have been refined to be more user-friendly and easy to use.
The DN2002 has a warm, rich sound, but the bass will not be the first sound heard by the listener. In fact, the bass of DN2002 is not really too much. This bass is quite similar to the DN2000j, no more or no less, is average, even with those who listen to a lot less. But what’s special about the bass DN2002 is that it’s a hit. In previous headphones, Dunu focused more on the mid and “to forget” loss of sub bass should give the feeling of bass boomy, or down as deep as the user expected. Like the DN2000j, for example, although the bass was very moderate, but the sub bass was not really impressive. The DN2002 has not much bass, but quite balanced from sub bass to mid bass.
Mid
Both the bass and the treble are lightweight, so the mid is the focus of the DN2002. Mid of the DN2002 is something of a hybrid between the midrange of Titan 3 – Dunu Titan’s line of vocal cords and the warmth of the traditional DN. When I first heard the first two or two, really this mid is not very prominent, but to really hear it to see it has a lot of bright spots. Overall, this is a fairly regular mid tone, slightly hinting at the low and bringing the mainstream warmth of the headset. Mid DN2002 is a sweet and warm, clean and clean DN2000 and DN2000j, dark and deep bass singer down a bit so comfortable and easy listening. High peak of DN2000j has disappeared altogether, the high mid did not roll off early but did not create sibalance as the previous version.
Hayley Westenra’s voice in Yuki no Hana is smooth, warm. With some neutral or lightweight headphones, this one will be a bit dazzling, echoing. For the high mid, DN2002 almost “cut” a bit so the female singer is not up to the highest, feeling a bit coincide. But the parts that DN2002 show are done pretty well, low and mid is made rods, thick, full and smooth. Perhaps the high mid-high DN2000j makes many complain of sibalance, so Dunu continues with the smooth mid-range. Mid is placed in the middle of the head, but does not go straight forward but is incorporated into the orchestra. But the details are quite good, so the vocalist or instrumental in the instrumental remains the most prominent. The mid section is quite thick, so there is little gap between the sound components. When we first heard the DN2002, we will see a “lump” sound up, but really hear a time to realize that the details of the DN2002 with mid is okay, so the sound components are not sticky to each other This is a pretty mid tone if you are looking for a mid-level, dark and warm midrange but still sticking to the music as possible.
Treble
One of the most favorite parts of DN2002 is the treble. This is a very special piece of treble. Treble up quite high, not rolled off early. The DN2002’s DN500 differs from the DN2000 in that it’s a bit brighter, more shimmering and easier to hear than the “tinkling” and rudimentary headphones. Treble quite rich energy, scissors are also quite long so give full sense. But treble is placed at the edge of the ear, behind the middle should never give a dazzling feeling, thorns. This is probably the first time Dunu has done such an audible treble. From the Titan, DN2000 or DN2000j, the treble is often brighter than normal and is quite high, often dazzling, even slightly sibalance. Treble DN2002 not stand out, but very well with the overall tone of the headset. This treble clears the sound of the headphones a little bit, the sound is not dark and jail, is really very suitable!

Positive / Negative
One of the points out of balance in the sound that Dunu has improved in many of his life is the sound. From DN19, a very heavy bass headset with no sound field, to DN2002, the sound quality is much more balanced, plus the sound is spacious and comfortable. First of all, DN2002 has a fairly steady sound arrangement, spreading from the center of the head to both ears, without overwhelming the other. Try Amber Rubarth’s Down Home, cello and viola head almost to the ear. The sound of the DN2002 is quite thick so the drum parts are filled with sound, so the overall sound is thick, full. This is in contrast to earphones such as the E64’s SM64 or Velvet, which also has a very wide sound field, but the thinner sound feels far-fetched. Of course, in terms of subjective sound, the DN2002 still loses higher headphones, especially the AKG k3003, but this is an extremely valuable sound at this price range. The EX1000 or Noble 4 also has a very wide sound field, even wider than the DN2002, but it has a slim, discrete sound. This is a reasonable sound, easy listening.
When it comes to detail, the DN2002 is not a technically sound headset, much like the DN2000j. Once you have put your headphones on your ears, you will notice the overall sound quality, the comfort in the sound rather than the separation of each component. But to say fair, DN2002 has good detail! With the instrumental Grass top, the strings, the light touch on the Cello body is played out quite clearly! Of course, it can not be peeled and put these things to the head like the reference, analytical headphones but also to say that this is a headset that is more enjoyment. The detail of the DN2002 is good enough for the music to be full, easy to hear all the components.
Summary
The DN2002 is a headset that represents Dunu’s maturity.
