Design
As BE Free8, BE Free5 has a very characteristic design, rounded but elongated to fit the wearer’s ear pattern. The exterior of the ear has a few emulsions to keep the design from being boring, and also a button to switch on and transfer songs. The press of this button is light, so when pressed it does not feel like ‘push’ the deeper into the ear.
BE Free5 is also equipped with waterproof IPX5, so it can withstand the sweat of the athlete, or even survive if the person accidentally gave the headset ‘go swimming’.
The inside of the headset has the connector pins to charge the battery. When used independently, BE Free5 can play up to 4 hours of music, and when combined with the charger, this increase to 16 hours. Overall, this is pretty standard, as is the case with other true-wireless headsets on the market, and nothing quite so prominent.

Practical experience
BE Free 5 is a true-to-wireless headset, so the user’s first question will be whether the headset is connected, whether the headset is securely connected to the source or not. The answer is yes, it is not disconnected while in use, even when the ear and source are separated by a wall. Latency of the ear is good enough to watch movies, only about 1/3 of a second, which is a lot better than the older generation of wireless headsets. For those who use headphones to watch movies and play more games, it is best to use a wired headset, or an on-ear wireless ear with a near zero latency.
BE Free5 owns a sound quality Nuforce, especially BE wireless headphones have been tried before: slightly dark, very much about the bass strings to get vibrant sound, but with bands Medium and high enough that the sound is not ’tilted’ in a strip that causes an imbalance. The amount of bass is quite much, distributed evenly between sub-bass and mid-bass so it is not heavy nor too cluttered. Trying with HOME’s Resonance, we found that BE Free5 has strong bass, but slightly soft and seems less punchy than BE Free8’s. The ‘soft’ bass will fit well into the background, as it does not require user attention.
One of the points that Nuforce has in the past is that the middle of its earphones is too dark to stand on top of a dull bass. With BE Free5, the bass is softer. In general, the middle is slightly backward, but has the advantage of being added to the high-mid range so it’s impressive to not even put close to the listener.
The high sound of BE Free5 has many, but according to me is not a strip of high enough ‘quality’ because it looks a little thin, the speed is melting fast so not immediately impressed disappearing. The brightness of hi-hat in Dave Brubeck’s Take Five is very good, but as mentioned, tan soon should not sound so ‘real’. This high band is better suited to pop music, as electronica is more used than real treble sounds.
