amazon Outlier ONE reviews
Creative still lingers in the Asia market with speaker and soundcard products, but has almost lost its place in the headset world. In the past, the company was very popular with low-cost headphones, but for great sound quality, and after a while, Creative introduced a new pair of wireless headphones. Outlier ONE – a promising product.
Outlier ONE has a soft paper case. I myself do not like how Creative make box this product, the shell is easy to scratch, not to feel superior.
Back with a very confident introduction: Only ONE is enough! Imagine this is a pair of headphones good enough for long-term use without having to upgrade.
While the case may sound bad, the company compensates for a full set of accessories, including a micro USB charger, two rubber pads, a clasp, an ear loop and a velvet bag.
Recommended for exercisers, Outlier ONE has ear protection. But with the headset is quite tight, even strong exercise is hard to fall out so this block is only suitable for those with large ears.
Outlier ONE is made of plastic, but it’s perfectly fine and does not feel cheap (like the way the box is made). Made of plastic, the headset is lightweight, only about 15g, which makes it feel more comfortable. Once properly worn, the earphones are very firmly attached to the ear, very hard to fall as well as good sound insulation.
The headset also has IPX4 water resistance, enough to withstand the downpour or perspiration of users, but not enough to be dipped in water for a long time.
Outlier ONE very … black! All components are made of black plastic. I like the black headset itself, as well as the harder to stick dirty than other colors.
Flat wire head for anti-tangle, there is a standard 3-button clustering.
There is also a charging port, covered by a plastic sheet to prevent dirt and water. The music playing volume of the headphones is good, up to 10 hours, higher than the 7-8 hours of headphones designed. We use Outlier ONE 1 hour per day, after a week of 3 days the headphones are out of battery.
The last product I tried was the Soundcard SoundBlaster E5. And to say that Creative has very good sound uniformity when the pair Outlier ONE sound quality is quite similar to the SoundBlaster E5. V-shape earphones, extravagant in volume for the purpose of listening to powerful music.
The bass is quite high, especially the mid bass. The drumstick in Kendrick Lamar’s All the Stars beat SZA down very strong. The bass of Outlier ONE is better suited to young music than slow jazz, as the sub bass is slightly off (roll off) so the whole cello or double bass is shallow.
Weaknesses of V-shape earphones are found in the midrange. If you look at the sound chart of these earphones, we will see the band of high and strings are pushed up quite high volume, but the lightest part, the “sunken” part of the V falls into the middle. It’s clear on the real experience when the singer was Outlier ONE pushed out the ears as well as dark. The headphones are still sufficiently detailed to allow the band to be immersed without losing clarity, but this is not the most striking range of headphones.
