| Rating: IP64 | Colors: Titanium, Black |
The Poco F6 presents itself with a basic design that offers two color choices through its Titanium Gray and Black variants. The polycarbonate back of the device features a matte finish which prevents fingerprint marks. The dual camera system uses large circular modules which create an isosceles triangle design that includes a round flash component. Although the F6 presents an attractive appearance, we prefer the white shimmering design found on last year’s white Poco F5 variant.
The Poco F6 becomes easily portable because it weighs 179 grams and its thickness measures only 8 mm, while its back design provides users with a comfortable holding experience. The frame which combines polycarbonate and metal materials, provides strength to the device without increasing its total mass. The buttons exhibit a soft touch, but they function properly, and the in-display fingerprint sensor delivers both rapid performance and precise identification.
The front of the device contains a flat display which Gorilla Glass Victus protects, and it includes stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos to produce adequate sound performance. The phone features both an IR blaster and a USB Type-C charging port, but it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Poco F6 provides protection against dust and water splashes because it has an IP64 rating.
The following items appear in the retail package of the Poco F6:
- Poco F6 phone

- Screen
| 6.67-inch AMOLED display | 68 billion colors |
| 2712 x 1220 pixel (1,5K) | 1920Hz PWM dimming |
| 20:9 aspect ratio | 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate |
| 120Hz refresh rate | 100% DCI-P3 color gamut |
| 480Hz touch sampling rate | Widevine L1 / Dolby Vision / HDR10+ |
| Brightness up to 2,400 nits | Gorilla Glass Victus protection |
The Poco F6 display which matches the Poco X6 Pro display from this year functions as a better screen than the Poco F5 display from last year. The Poco F6 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display which delivers 1.5K resolution through its 2712 x 1220 pixel display and 20:9 aspect ratio and 445 PPI pixel density. The display provides major improvements over the FHD+ display that exists on the Poco F5. The phone provides a 120Hz refresh rate together with a 480Hz touch sampling rate which delivers smooth performance during gaming and user interface scrolling.
The display of the Poco F6 reaches maximum brightness levels of 2400 nits which allows users to see clearly in bright outdoor conditions. The screen features HDR 10+ support for YouTube and Amazon Prime Video plus Dolby Vision support for Netflix which enhances the viewing experience. The system uses 1920Hz high-frequency dimming technology which allows users to adjust brightness levels for dark environments while preserving color accuracy and creating a comfortable viewing experience.
The Poco F6 color saturation system includes three modes which are Original Color Pro and Vivid and Saturation. The first mode reproduces colors faithfully through color calibration, the second adjusts color based on the content displayed on the screen, and the third enhances color. The advanced settings provide a choice between P3 and sRGB color gamuts which enables users to adjust RGB and HSV color space while controlling contrast and gamma settings.
Gamers will benefit from the flat screen design because it prevents ghosting which usually occurs with curved screens. The stereo speakers produce extremely loud sound which maintains high audio quality, thus improving the media experience. The advanced audio and display capabilities of the Poco F6 make it suitable for gamers who enjoy watching movies.

- Performance and software:
| Chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 | 5,000mAh battery |
| RAM 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5x | 90W charger |
| Storage capacity: 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 | Android 14, HyperOS operating system |

The Poco F6 is an affordable flagship phone equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The performance of the new chip is complemented by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device contains a 5,000mAh battery which provides power for an entire day. The F6 comes with a 120W fast charger but it can only charge at a maximum speed of 90W. The device required 45 minutes to reach a full charge. The 120W charger supports the USB-PD protocol which enables it to charge other devices including phones tablets and laptops.
The device showed its performance results in various benchmark tests.
The phone functions well for general use because it offers smooth performance and flexible capabilities to handle demanding games. We tested games like Genshin Impact, Shadow Fight 4, and Real Racing 3 on the F6. The device enables gaming enthusiasts to experience “Ultra HDR” graphics and “Ultra” frame rates. The device becomes warm during gaming sessions but the temperature increase remains at a safe level. The game played without any major interruptions because there were no noticeable delays or drops in frame rate. The system uses LiquidCool 4.0 technology to cool itself during gaming sessions and other demanding activities. The haptic feedback system delivers decent performance yet its strongest setting produces only minimal tactile feedback.
The HyperOS user interface provides a smooth experience, but it comes pre-installed with some unnecessary apps and games. The phone operates on Android 14 which will receive three major OS updates and four years of security maintenance. The Poco F6 includes multiple AI features which use WildBoost 3.0 technology to optimize gaming performance by decreasing lag and improving visual quality. The system provides advanced connectivity features which use AI technology to optimize network performance by reducing latency and boosting download speeds while maintaining quick recovery after network interruptions. The device includes AI noise cancellation technology which operates directly on the device.
- Camera and other features:
| Rear Camera | Front Camera |
| Main camera: 50 MP, f/1.6, 1/1.95″, OIS | Camera 20 MP, f/2.2 |
| Ultra-wide camera: 8 MP, 1/4.0″ | |
| Other Features | |
| In-display fingerprint sensor | Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos |
| Face unlock | X-axis linear motor |
| 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS | Infrared (IR) blaster |
Poco provides multiple AI tools which include AI Eraser Pro for automatic image element removal and background restoration and AI Bokeh Effect for professional portrait enhancement through background-based subject focus.
The Poco device uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera together with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens at its back. The brand made a positive improvement by eliminating the unnecessary 2-megapixel macro camera.
The default camera application provides several shooting modes which include Pro, Night, 50MP, Short Video, Panorama, VLOG, Slow Motion, Time-lapse, Dual Video, AI Watermark, Long Exposure, and Pro. The 12-megapixel main camera produces decent-quality pictures that require proper lighting conditions. The system demonstrates excellent dynamic range while displaying colors that closely resemble their actual appearance. The main camera supports in-sensor zoom up to 2x, but unfortunately, there’s no zoom option in portrait mode. The system produces good quality low-light images, but we found no major differences between normal and night mode pictures in most situations. The night mode feature improves visibility in dark locations.
The ultra-wide-angle shots show enough detail, but their colors appear slightly faded. The performance of the 20-megapixel front camera reaches its best point when used in well-lit environments which provide accurate skin tone reproduction. The portrait mode functions effectively. The performance of the system decreases when operating in dimly lit environments.
The main camera of the Poco F6 allows users to record videos in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. The system provides OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support only for FHD+ video which operates at a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second. The device provides good camera capabilities which fall short of exceptional performance because the device mainly focuses on delivering high gaming capabilities.
The Poco F6 includes practical functions which enable users to connect through NFC with one touch and use an IR blaster port to operate their home appliances. The fingerprint sensor functions according to its expected performance.
