Performance
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chip which powers the realme 16 Pro shows lower performance results than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip that was used in the realme 15 Pro. The current smartphone market requires us to investigate its current state before we can understand this performance decrease. Phone manufacturers have been forced to adjust their product development methods because of two main factors which include rising raw material prices and the ongoing memory chip shortage. Realme has decided to focus on achieving performance and practical features through optimization instead of pursuing high specifications which would increase product costs.
The MediaTek chip shows strong performance capabilities even though its actual power remains below full potential. The realme UI 7 system which runs on Android 16 provides users with an uninterrupted experience throughout all activities. The interface provides users with seamless transition effects which create a user experience that closely resembles the features of ColorOS 16.
Camera and AI
The main camera system is where the realme 16 Pro has made the biggest difference compared to its predecessor. The rear camera system has received a substantial enhancement which transforms it from the 50MP camera used in the realme 15 Pro to the 200MP Portrait Master camera that employs a Samsung HP5 sensor with optical image stabilization. The upgrade provides photographers with exceptional detail capabilities while the system retains its wide-ranging shooting options through the 8MP 112-degree ultra-wide-angle lens.

The social media results achieve excellent quality even though AI processing makes the images appear slightly more sharp than natural.
The presence of AI Edit Genie 2.0 makes me feel most excited about this particular technology. The realme16 Pro has received an important upgrade because of this feature which originated as a proud achievement from the 15 series. The incredible AI feature lets me produce various photo styles without any cost because it provides complete free access to its capabilities.
I can easily add window lighting effects and window shadows to make the photo more artistic, or I can create a playful cartoon transformation of model photos. The AI system controls both lighting and contrast with high intelligence capability; thus, the photo achieves enhanced brightness and professional appearance.
