amazon SONY WI-SP600N reviews
Design
As mentioned, the SP600N uses a wired connection between the sides of the ear, but integrates both the battery and the control unit into one, not split into two as the products of other manufacturers. Designed for sports fans, the IPX4 waterproof headphones are also available.
We still have 3 buttons, including play / pause button with call and 2 volume controls.
On the side is a separate power button, a button to turn on the active noise protection and the charging slot. This cluster also contains NFC clusters for fast connectivity to these integrated feature generators.
The earpiece is made entirely of plastic, but of course it’s a big company so Sony knows it’s perfect to not be loose or creaky. This part is quite large, but will protrude from the ear rather than being ‘tucked’ into the user’s ears should still give the feeling of wearing very comfortable. The SP600N ‘fit’ with ear cushions, so users have to choose the right size for them to avoid and provide the best noise protection.

The SP600N’s ‘worth’ feature is active noise reduction. After a week of use, I found the noise resistance of this pair of very good, but still 1 level lower than the product line 1000x.
That’s why those who are extremely need anti-noise, the 1000x line is still the best option today, with me, the SP600N is still good enough, because sometimes I still need to hear a little bit. Occurs around for safety reasons.
+ Sound
Set right at the price range of the XB-80S, and homologous sound also confirms this is a successor product of this pair of eXtra bass headphones. Therefore, the most striking strings to hear are the bass. The bass of the SP600N is very thick, never giving a feeling of lack. Sub-bass is extremely deep, true to the drum pattern of the ultra-realistic eXtra bass, both headphones and speakers. With the SP600N, the overall bass seems to have a higher speed, so there is a higher rebound force than the XB-80S, which results in the other strings being squashed.
It is said that after the change of sound quality, Sony is one of the companies that make the most of mid-headphones. The SP600N has a thick midrange, thanks to the warmth of the high-bass sound, but it is clean and distortion-free like the V-shape earphones. Sarah McLachlan’s voice in Trainwreck is silky, warm, slightly sweet but not metamorphosed. The high-mid midrange is quite upward, so it’s not too cut out, so in some pretty dark songs, many bassists like Trainwreck, the female vocalist still cut through to become the main character, No other components ‘buried’. Overall, I’m satisfied with the way the SP600N performs, especially when it has a very strong bass.
I feel like a clutch of a turntable, I have to say that every time I try an eXtra Bass, it’s designed for the bass-strings so the opposite band is not treble. WI-SP600N unofficial is a product of this line, but the treble also stopped quite, just enough to hear, not impressed. Cécile Corbel’s Belfast treble is light enough but slightly lacking in thickness. None of Sony’s earphones have a ‘bad’ treble, but very few of them reach the ‘perfect’ (WI-1000x, for example, uses a Balance Armature to reproduce this strings).
Summary
WI (in-ear high-end), but the SP600N can be called a pair of eXtra bass earbuds with rich, strong and high-definition bass. In addition, these headsets are equipped with the active noise-canceling technology, making it a worthy successor to the previously popular XB80S, a worthwhile product buying.
