amazon Tribit MaxSound Plus reviews
PACKING AND ACCESSORIES
Tribit MaxSound Plus boxes are designed in the same style as the boxes of Tribit XSound GO. The paper box is dominant with orange tones. The front is the name and image of the product. The back and the sides are detailed information about the product and the manufacturer.
Inside the box, in addition to the speaker, we also get an additional Micro USB charging cable, an AUX cable with 2 3.5mm heads, and an additional manual. It is not uncommon for the box to be included with the product as all major speaker companies like JBL, Sony, and UE do the same. If you need a carrying case, you’ll need to purchase it outside separately.
DESIGN AND FINISHING
Tribit MaxSound Plus has the same design as an enlarged version of Tribit XSound GO. The entire front of the speaker is a metal mesh shielding the speaker on the inside.
The body is covered with rough rubber to increase the grip when used in wet conditions. The top of the speaker is where the control keys are located. Compared to the control panel of XSound GO, on Tribit MaxSound Plus is added 1 XBASS button. This button has the effect of activating the bass booster mode, the function that appeared on Tribit StormBox. In the middle we can see a small hole, this is where the speaker microphone is located.
The back of Tribit MaxSound Plus is added as a passive driver to enhance the bass and volume of the speaker. At the same time, this is also the location for the 3.5mm AUX connector and Micro-USB charging port.
The surface of the product does not have any grit or errors. The surface of the blade is machined precisely, tight, and absolutely no excess glue. The rubber coating delivered with sharpened plastic. The position of the connection port and the charging port is neatly placed. The charging port cover also has a waterproof rubber gasket.
It’s no coincidence that Tribit Audio has won so many customers on Amazon. The ability to perfect the production of the company is excellent.

EXPERIENCE AND SOUND
The connectivity experience of Tribit MaxSound Plus is stable. The speaker hardly encountered any disruption of sound during 5 hours of continuous experience. I have tested it on both smartphones and PC and they have returned the same result. The lag when watching videos on youtube of speakers is still pretty much about 150-180ms. As a result, the experience of watching videos with fast tempo is somewhat diminished. But in return, the sound of Tribit MaxSound Plus is really impressive.
The Tribit MaxSound Plus sounds best when I turn on XBass mode. In this mode, the speaker has a thick, warm sound. Sub-bass has good quality while mid-bass has sufficient volume. The bass is controlled quite well, not being encroached, making the mid sound as opaque and boxy as SONY speakers. The mid-range is relatively clear, full, and smooth. The treble only accounts for a small amount but is enough to make the music balanced.
In the non-XBass enabled mode, the sound of Tribit MaxSound Plus was greatly reduced. The sound is no longer full and powerful. However, this sound quality is very suitable for listening to soft, relaxing music.
In wired mode, the sound is clearer than Bluetooth mode. Bass beat is somewhat firm and more rounded. High and mid-range details are greatly improved. Therefore, if you want to experience the best audio from Tribit MaxSound Plus, I highly recommend using the speaker in wired mode.
Summarizing the sound quality, Tribit MaxSound Plus can play many types of music from classical non-lyrics music to vibrant music such as EDM, R&B … All thanks to the XBass switch and loudspeaker system equipped on Tribit MaxSound Plus.
Compare with TRIBIT XSOUNG GO
Tribit MaxSound Plus in XBass mode is more powerful and impressive than XSound GO. The bass has much better vibration thanks to its outstanding power and 2 passive vibration membranes. However, in terms of balance, the XSound GO seems to fit better. The tonal bands are more balanced when compared to the Tribit MaxSound Plus.
In normal mode, the Bass of Tribit MaxSound Plus is lighter than XSound GO. The sound feels thinner when left at the same volume level.
Tribit MaxSound Plus possesses all the elements of a good product at an extremely competitive price. If you’re looking for a portable speaker for entertainment for more than $ 50, Tribit MaxSound Plus is the best choice for you.
