When I hold the S25 Plus device in my hand, it provides me with excellent comfort. The device has a lightweight design which makes it feel better than the S24 Plus (which weighs 190 grams and has a weight reduction of 7 grams compared to its earlier version). The aluminum frame provides secure handling because its four corners have round edges that enable users to carry it in their pockets without feeling any discomfort—this feature makes it easier to use compared to the S25 Ultra which has rough edges that users must grip while handling it.
The S25 Plus design shows only minor variations from the S24 Plus design because both devices share similar design features that define their appearance.
The S25 Plus offers a lively and youthful color palette which exceeds the Ultra’s color options because it delivers highly visible colors that attract attention to users who want to make a fashion statement. The blue unit I tested looks particularly appealing.
Display
The S25 Plus display interface uses the design principle that states attractive designs should remain unchanged. The display uses a 6.7-inch Super Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel which supports 2K+ resolution and 2600 nits peak brightness and displays content through its narrow bezels which create a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 92 percent—this display provides optimal viewing experience for movies and web browsing and socializing with friends.
The S25 Plus demonstrates better video quality than the iPhone 16 Plus because it has sharper images and improved bezel design. The device provides better one-handed operation because its Ultra dimension requires less space for handling.
The screen lacks the Ultra’s anti-reflective coating although the display shows clear content during outdoor activities under bright sunlight conditions.
Camera
The S25 Plus camera system is unchanged from the S24 Plus, but it is still more than enough for everyday photography. The system produces detailed images during good lighting conditions and it delivers precise color reproduction and it provides exceptional 10x telephoto zoom which outperforms the iPhone 16 Plus in backlit scenes and portrait mode and low-light conditions.
The daily performance meets most typical requirements but the S25 Plus becomes less suitable when customers need specific features or wants to use the Ultra design.
The S25 Plus system lags behind the Ultra system when it comes to recording videos through the front camera for live streaming purposes.
Performance
The overheating problem with the Exynos 2400 chip led to negative feedback for the S24 Plus which launched last year. Samsung has equipped the S25 Plus with Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy which acts as its main processor for this year. The change introduces which advantages to the system.
The S25 Plus maintains better thermal performance during PUBG Mobile testing when compared to S24 Plus because it consumes less power. The system experiences frame drops when running at maximum graphics settings because its performance does not meet expectations. The extreme conditions show this problem, but most users will not realize it.
People experience seamless performance during daily activities which include app launching and handling multiple tasks and watching TikTok content.
The base 256GB storage package lets users store videos and photos and games without any limitations.
The device reaches a warm temperature after 30 minutes of TikTok usage. The Ultra remains cooler than the device during some situations although the device shows less effective heat dissipation.

The 4900mAh battery provides power for an entire workday which lasts from 8 AM until 5 PM. The mixed usage tests showed that I still had 25% battery power remaining at night. The 45W fast charging provides decent performance which is sufficient for normal usage although it does not match the speed of Chinese phones that have 100W charging and 6000mAh batteries.
The S25 Plus operates One UI 7 with complete efficiency. The camera opens without delay, the user can switch between lenses in a quick manner, and the system interface provides an easier user experience than its earlier versions. The system uses iOS-style notification separation, while the lock screen displays a small media player which provides a pleasant user experience.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra contains identical AI functions which enable photo editing, text generation, translation, and voice recording summaries with complete Vietnamese language support. A dedicated section is covered below.
The phone possesses dual speakers which deliver powerful bass sounds that create a satisfying media experience. The system functions without any issues during normal usage throughout the day.
What’s Good About Galaxy AI on the S25 Plus?

Live Call Translation enables users to experience instant translation during their phone conversations. The system lets you receive calls in any language while you listen to their translation in your own language which includes Vietnamese to help you communicate better with international callers.
Writing Assist provides an editing tool to improve writing through its text refinement features. The system can:
- Suggest grammar and spelling corrections
- Change writing tone
- Generate summaries
- Format text into bullet points or structured lists
- Draft new content based on prompts
- Translate messages in selected chat apps
- Suggest replies for messages
Writing Assist processes text according to user selection while third-party applications handle the text but Samsung does not keep any data from this process.
The user needs to select the keyboard icon which appears on every text input field to access the function.
Interpreter
The system provides immediate interpretation of spoken languages through its Interpreter mode. The function enables users to start through Quick Panel and presents translations through both display and Galaxy Buds audio enabling users to converse in multiple languages.
Other Galaxy AI Features
- The Smart Assistant (Bixby) system manages scheduling tasks while sending messages and operating smart home devices. The system functions effectively with Vietnamese language users but its performance diminishes when ambient noise increases.

- The Circle to Search & Image Recognition system enables users to execute fast searches for items and landmarks by drawing circles around them.
- The Photo Assist system enables users to remove unwanted elements from images while improving their overall visual quality.
- The Audio Eraser software enables users to split and improve video audio tracks while decreasing background sounds which functions without internet through Snapdragon 8 Elite.
- The Best Face feature enables users to choose the most suitable facial expressions for group portrait photos.
- Users can conduct automated tasks through Voice Workflow Commands by using voice commands which include the command “Hey Bixby open fitness app and start tracking workout”. The system needs adjustments for better performance but it shows potential development progress.
Conclusion
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus provides users with an interface which remains consistent and dependable throughout their usage. Its main benefits come from its attractive display, extended battery performance, and valuable AI capabilities.
The current design maintains similarity with previous models while the gaming system lacks optimal performance. The phone serves users who want stable performance with practical functionality at a lower cost than Ultra model.
