Design
E1008 is made of lightweight aluminum painted yellow, similar to E1001. The ear piece has a unique 5-bladed floral design. Headset sizes are larger to fit the ears of more people. The headphone cord has a full three-button music control, along with a micrphone for voice conversations. The lower straps are covered with fabric to prevent folding. The ear plugs are L-shaped for the same reason.
Inside each earpiece is a Ceramic Dual Driver speaker system. This ceramic speaker uses two unique vibration components to provide a more linear frequency range than conventional earphones with conventional speaker membranes.
Sound
Inear is a good listener so when I switch to my earbud is a bit strange about the tone of the E1008. Earbuds do not bring the sound back and forth in the ear canal of the listener, so it does not feel as detailed as the high-end Inear ear. But what Earbud brings is a more natural tone, expressing the soul of the music.
The bass of the E1008 is not much, and of course less than the Yuin PK1. E1008 if heard from those inear will be slightly dark, but compared to the ears of PK1 is still “light”. However subjective evaluation, the E1008 is still slightly dark and warm. The sub bass is just deep enough, but down there will be thinning so the contrabass sound does not have a steady rise. The mid bass is fuller, more reliable and has better volume and power than the sub. This part though quite close to the mid but fortunately not too aggressive to the mid, so the sound is still enough separation. The speed of the bass is quite good, the drum sounds in Good Mystery, the drum plays down decisively, peak and fast enough not off. This bass will not be perfect for dynamic music, as it does not have much and does not spread, so lightweight, bass-less music will fit into the E1008.
The centerpiece of the headset is slightly backward rather than straight into the head of the listener. E1008 vocal sound is quite strong, is made medium thickness should give full feeling and sweet. For those who are familiar with the mid-morning and the light, it’s a little weird to the E1008’s sound as it does not come close to the listener, but this mid-range offers long-lasting, roof for the whole song. Trying on Gravity from singer Alison Krauss, her voice was sweetly, the high mid section was cut to not create sibalance but still not feeling too strong truncation. This mid section is not very impressive at first, it does not show as Inear ears of the same range but for quite detail, moderate voice should be quite natural. People who like golden music, lyrical music will love this mid-type of E1008.
The treble is not the strength of the headset. The volume of treble is quite moderate, but enough energy to dissolve speed is not so impressive. The high treble does not have peak points, so do not shake the ear. The overall sound of the headphones is slightly darker, so the treble is made to match the rest of the band.
